Another Hat

Another hatI whipped up another hat yesterday for Ramey, using my second skein of Peruvian wool. This one was even quicker than the blue one. I'm on a roll now! I want to crochet some more.

Had a great meeting last night with my Walk to Emmaus Reunion Group. There was more food than we could possibly eat--but we gave it a try. I was really off my diet. Mostly veggies though, so I wasn't really all that bad--except for the pie.

My "Africa" book has received the honor of being chosen for home page art at the Cloth Paper Studio group. CPS is a group of mixed-media artists who love to share their work with each other.

I haven't decided what I'll work on today, but I'm pretty sure it will be something at the sewing machine. I would really like to end this year with NO UFOs on my list. Wouldn't that be nice?

Congratulations on the honor you received for your amazing Africa book at your Cloth Paper Studio group! For how long a time will your book be the home page art?

Another hat?! Do you blink and another one comes into being? You are certainly on a roll!

Ah, what a wonderful thought it is to end the year with no UFOs and this is really the time of year to begin working toward that lofty goal. November would be waaaaay too late to start!

Hugs!

What wonderful news about your Africa book! So glad that others will have an opportunity to see it.

Susan, your hats are darling. I know is expecting some cold weather on February 4... maybe snow. Even if we don’t have really cold weather, the mornings and nights are definitely on the cold side and what a perfect time for a cute hat!

Love the hats!! They are addictive, aren't they? My husband was diagnosed with cancer last year and has been receiving chemo treatments and I've made him several beanies for his bald head. Any extras I make I take and put in the basket at the oncologist's office for others to enjoy. Does a heart good!

I Made a Hat Last Night

Hat2I've been promising to make Ramey a hat for some time now, so last night I just did it. It's crocheted using Cascade Peruvian wool from a pattern called Gulf Shores Hat. It was so quick to make that I might just make another one. I have another skein of the wool yarn in a sort of camel color.

Hat1

I'm not going to church this morning. I have a prayer group dinner at a friend's house this evening and don't want to risk tiring myself out to early. That might sounds a little silly, but I've learned with the fibro and chronic fatigue to be very stingy with my spoons when possible.

I'm taking Paula Deen Dutch apple pie and vanilla ice cream to share. It's potluck. Good excuse for pie.

Love the hat! My hands don't play nicely together when holding a crochet hook or knitting needles. I've never know why that is, but those skills totally escape me.

You do seem to have everything - I mean, you even have a head on which to display Ramey's lovely new hat. Way to go!

Applause on your wisdom in using your limited spoon supply wisely. It's a bummer, but necessary.

I second what Joanne said, I love pie, too.

Hugs!

Oh my goodness, I love that hat! Looked at the pattern and I think I am going to try it in the bulky yarn, as the first example is made in. I have some bulky weight yarn in a wonderful raspberry color. I'll let you know how it turns out.
Uh, can you send me some of that pie? It may be a tad smashed when it gets here, but that's ok!
I, too, really limit how many places I go or how much I do in a day, due to that fibro monster. It sure can make you feel like a baby at times, but people just need to be understanding, which most people are that I know.
Have a wonderful day.
Hugs....

UFO Progress Report: Week 4 (2012)

Book1I'm proud of my report this week. I got a lot done. I finished my "Africa" fabric book and the cuddle quilt top from the leftover string blocks that I didn't use in the Santa "Family Album" quilt. Today, I'll be that that top, the Santa top, and my "Cherry Lasagna" top to Lena to quilt. Then, if I'm not completed done in, I'll stop by my favorite thrift store, which is on the way home from Lena's. Might find a treasure; who knows?

Below is my UFO Bust Show-and-Tell. I hope some of you have something to report this week. Below my pics, you'll find Mr. Linky. If you're one of our Little Green Quilters, please add your link so we can know what you've been doing this week, progress or not.

New Sewing Machine

Thurs1

It's about two inches high, and my foot won't fit the pedal. But I love it all the same. Now the Yellow Doll House has a sewing machine.

Ramey brought me a couple of treasures (see below) for the doll house too. She painted these herself, and they are very tiny.

Thurs2

It is, as Aunt Edna used to say, raining straight down this morning. Actually, the term gully-washer comes to mind. I had planned to run some errands today, but I think those plans have changed. Nothing needs doing that won't keep till tomorrow.

Do you ever just suddenly think of something, maybe something you've owned a while back, and wonder what happened to it? Do y'all remember this?

6a00d8341cbb0053ef0133f442d454970b-800wi

For some reason, this popped into my mind yesterday, and I can't remember what I did with it. I remember that I was going to hang it in the dining room, I think. But it isn't hanging there. I found the frame at a yard sale, maybe a year or so ago. And I framed some of my fabric postcards in it. Now what did I do with that thing?

Ok, the doggies are getting impatient. They want me to play. So bye for now. And don't forget tomorrow is UFO Progress Report Day.

It rained, or I should say, POURED down here yesterday. It was raining cats and dogs! By the time I got ready to go home, it had stopped. That was a good thing because I hate to drive in weather like that.
You be safe and dry,

The little bitty sewing machine, bottle, and rolling pin are utterly charming! Good job with the painting, Ramey! Where did you find a treadle machine that tiny?

Oh, you know your wall hanging frame will be in the last place you look - because when you find it, you stop looking, of course! Have you looked in all of the drawers and closets it will fit into in the room where you intended to hang it? Under a bed? Is it still in the room where you added the fabric postcards? Could it be stashed with a red quilt? I wish you inspiration so its whereabouts pop into your mind soon.

Rain is in our forecast for tonight and tomorrow but we've had 3 lovely sunny days. I'm still hoping for some winter and snow so the bugs won't be bad.

Hugs!

The little sewing machine and kitchen accessories are absolutely adorable! I bet some miniature quilts will just fly right off the sewing machine!

I agree with Barbara Anne about the weather....I saw an azalea bloom today - this has never ever happened in January - this plant has always bloomed the first week in April. And I’ve seen daffodils in bloom this past week...

Those minis are precious! And, holy COW, Ramey! How'd you even SEE to do that painting, much LESS actually do it so beautifully? Had to grin over the misplaced item! My former Mother-in-law was THE sweetest woman EVER. And she had a habit of misplacing everything so she kept anything of real importance all in one place. Yep. The fridge. All her important papers were in a plastic bag TAPED to the SIDE of the fridge. And where do you suppose she kept her dentures at night? Uh-huh! In a glass IN THE FRIDGE. Trust me, that was something of a surprise the first time I saw those choppers front and center on the shelf. LOL! You'll find your pretty framed postcards! And stay in out of that rain. Just cozy-up with the doggy people! LOVE YOU!

If It's Wednesday...

Skip&BT
Good morning from Skipper and Blue Toy

Ramey came over last night and we watched the President's State of the Union address and then "Justified." I had never watched "Justified," (well I tried once but couldn't get into it). But this time, I got hooked. Ramey has ordered the first two season videos from the library for me so I can catch up.

DUYR_22Look what I found this morning while blog hopping. Looks like a fun challenge and great prizes. It's a toilet paper cover. Now I don't know who wants to cover their toilet paper, but it would make a great "conversation piece," now wouldn't it? I think I'll make one for my friend Jennifer who runs the facility, Red Rooster Retreat, where my quilting bee holds our autumn retreat. I sure would like to win that $100 gift certificate from Fat Quarter Shop. The project looks very easy (you'll find instructions with the link), and I think a red rooster toilet paper cover would  be just tres chic! Non?

Gotta go. I got all the laundry done yesterday except one load, which I'll do now. Then maybe some sewing. Boy, have I got some stuff to show for our Friday UFO Progress Report!

Skipper expression and his toy are too cute! Awwww, Mom!

My mother made a toilet roll cover when I was a child but it wasn't in use for long and I don't know what became of it. Perhaps my Dad vetoed it?

The pink roll cover is cute and I wish you well on your rooster one, but think I've lived with males for too long to entertain the idea of making one for this house!

I hear you bragging on your UFO progress. Color me green with envy. Maybe I can still accomplish something... maybe?

Happy Chinese New Year!

DragonfiresIt's the Year of the Dragon. Wouldn't it be fun to make this quilt to celebrate? I probably won't, although I really love it. But I'm not into dragons, and I have too big a pile of UFOS, with a to-make list just as big. But if you'd like to make this little dragon wall hanging, you can find the pattern here. It's a Australian company; I haven't been able to find a site in the U.S. that has it, but there's probably one somewhere.

Laundry day today. Laundry and reading. That's the plan.

Love the dragon but I doubt I'll make it either. Like you, my UFO list and to-make list are so long that I need higher ceilings!

I've been clearing out some fabric panels that I'll never use and that's created a whole new mess in my little sewing room. New quilts I'd love to make have caused me to make a newly revised be-ribboned bundle of fabrics for a blue and yellow quilt and then ... you know how it goes.

Don't you just love doing laundry since while the machines work, you can sit and read or take a nap? It's my favorite way to multi-task. In my next life, my laundry room will be on the bedroom level of the house or at the bedroom end of a ranch house.

Hugs!

This Is NOT My Yellow House!

2n1lx

After another tense and stormy night, I opened up online photos of tornado damage just a few miles north of me, and this is one of the first photos I saw. The house in the photo looks so much like mine that I almost fainted.

At least two people have been reported killed in last night's Alabama tornadoes. And the extent of the damage is still not known since news crews are unable to go into some of the effected areas. Please keep my state in your prayers once again as we deal with Nature's fury.

Holy Toledo! I read the NPR story about your weather so popped over here to check on you. I almost fainted, too, but then I saw this house didn't have your flight of steps or the porch. Am so glad you're okay but my heart goes out to those who suffered loses. These intense storms are scary and your area has had about all you can take.

May there be only gentle rain in safe amounts with gentle breezes at weekly intervals to help the farmers and the gardeners.

Stay safe!

Susan,
I read the forecasts yesterday and was aware of the potential problems, made even more serious in that the severe weather was expected at night.

So glad that you are safe but the fact that others were not has not escaped my attention at all!

Last fall we were in hurricane Irene’s direct track and the hurricane was expected at night. For that reason alone we decided to evacuate. Hurricanes can spawn tornados and we certainly did not want to deal with that at night. We had several days to make a decision to evacuate - I don’t believe your area had much advance notice. A couple of seasons ago we had a small tornado come through - I very much appreciated the notice that I received on our NOAA alert radio. We had no advance warning via weather forecasters. The tornado was close - when my neighbor realized that something was very, very wrong she tried to open the door to go get the horses out of the pasture only to find that she couldn’t open the door due to air pressure....

So glad that you are safe!

Whew! When I went to check your blog today, that photo was a shocker. So glad it is not The Yellow House you love...but am sorry for all those who were affected by the storm. We awoke here to very bad wind and pounding rain....I always am anxious after we had last year's tornado here. Luckily, the woodburner did not backdraft and we survived the worst of it last night...lost a rabbit barn door tho. Stay safe and warm....thinking of all in Alabama.

Pink Saturday Patter

Hearts
Thrift Store Hearts

What a great supper we had last night! Both my sisters, Ramey and Joanne, and my daughter Andy joined me for soup, salad, and Little Debbies. The rest of the crew had various excuses and couldn't make it. But we had a great evening--eating and laughing and talking about various subjects, including quantum physics, astronomy, movies, books, and reasons why we don't have (want) boyfriends. We all pretty much agree that having a mate on Valentine's Day isn't reward for all the work the rest of the year that having a feller takes.

This morning the house is fairly clean and straight, the laundry basket is not quite full, and while the dogs do need baths, I think they'll do without them today. I'm going to have an easy day today. Maybe do a little bit of sewing and a little bit of reading and have a lunch of leftover veggie beef soup.

Now it's Pink Saturday, you know. So be sure to visit Beverly's blog party to see what's happening in the pretty world of pink.

So glad to hear you, Ramey, Joanne, and Andy had a delightful girl's night last night. Did you have a sleepover, too, or were there needy pets at home who couldn't be left alone for that long?

Hugs!

UFO Progress Report: Week 3 (2012)

DH1
The Sitting Room

No UFO progress for me this week, so I decided to show you some things I've collected for The Yellow DollHouse. As you see, I haven't done any wall decorating yet. No painting or papering or even hanging wall art. But I will--eventually.

DH2
The Play Room

DH3
The Dining Room

CH4
The Human Family

DH5
The Human Family Cat

DH6
Good-Luck Lady Bugs

Have to get busy now preparing for a family night (my real family) soup supper. We're having homemade vegetable beef soup, brocolli/grape/bacon salad, and Little Debbies for dessert.

Below is Mr. Linky. Please sign in if you're a member of the Little Green Quilters UFO Challenge and have a blog post you'd like us to see.

Your Little Yellow House is just charming as are the inhabitants and the decor! I can imagine the fun is it to bring the house to life. I have a little something to send you for your little home.

No UFO progress here either but have been thinning my fabric panels stash and have one empty drawer in the sewing room!! That is some kind of progress and it certainly delights me.

Hummm ... is there a point in time when a quilting project becomes a UFO? Is it the change of year, the passage of a specific amount time, the presence of cobwebs, or what??! Your thoughts?

The menu for your family gathering tonight sounds perfectly yummy and well suited for the weather. Enjoy!

Hugs!

I see kitties for the new house, but where are the dogs! lol. I also have dollhouses(supposed to be for granddaughter, but I like them too)...and enjoy collecting items for each. Hope you have a great weekend.!

I love your little house and the contents, especially the little lady bugs. I always wanted a doll house when I was a little girl, a girl down the street had one, but I never got one. At least she let me play with hers. Have fun! I like Barbara Anne have something to send you, if you will sent the address to the Yellow House.
I finished a UFO, not on my list, but something I found in mixed in with some other stuff.

My Rag Wreath

Wreath

I made this wreath yesterday. I wanted something Valentiny for the front door, and this is it. I had planned something entirely different using strips of red fabrics tied around the wreath--sort of raggy looking. I started that, and it just wasn't working for me.

Then I came across this piece of gorgeous fabric in my scrap bag. This is what we used to border Ramey's Drunkard's Path quilt a while back (a picture of which I cannot find to save my life!). I tore off a couple of wide strips, wrapped the wreath form, and added the hearts, which were in my stash. I think they came from a yard sale, or maybe thrift store. Voila! Wreath.

I feel like I've been quite productive this week--although I haven't really worked on UFOs. Maybe this afternoon I'll get in a big of busting, just so I can have something to report tomorrow.

This morning I have to make a shopping list and go grocery shopping. The family is coming tomorrow night for a soup supper. I'm having vegetable beef soup, some kind of salad, and some kind of dessert. As you can see, my plans are a little sketchy so far.

I did get my fibro med prescription (cymbalta) refilled yesterday. I'll try to not let that run out again.

All you Little Green Quilters, don't forget to check in tomorrow and leave your link. Now listen: you don't have to have any progress to report to post your link. We still want to know what you've been up to. So link up, ok?

Hi Susan -
The wreath is adorable and it looks lovely hanging on your red door. I've always wanted a red door, but (big sigh) mine is brown.

I'll tell you something to make you laugh ok? Day before yesterday I turned on my Bernie and she was making a very strange noise, kind of like a high pitch whining noise. She still sewed like a dream, but that noise just made me crazy and I got so scared that something terrible was wrong with her. So I called the store where I bought Bernie (shout out to Byrne's Sewing Center in New Britain, PA) and described the terrible scary noise it was making and the very kind lady who answered the phone said as gently as she could "honey do you have your bobbin rewind turned on?" and well don't ya know I did!! As soon as I turned it off that horrible noise went away.

I think I'm starting to slip a gear here and there. ME not the machine. Well, I had a good giggle over it and now I hope you did too!

Sending you blessings
Linda

Your wreath appears to have your magic touch with fabric! It looks so festive on the red door.

I want to wish all the Little Green Quilters lots of success with your UFO busting. I'm still working on my friend's Grandmother's Flower Garden quilt. I started working on it this past March! She had it in such a mess and the fabric isn't pretty and I don't like working on it, but I'm determined to finish it. It is my one and only UFO because I've taken time out from it to make two baby quilts. Have fun ladies in your new year of quilting. I'll be looking forward to lots of photos along the way.

Bernice Got a Garment

Cover1

In spite of one dog barking and biting me and pulling on my pants leg and one dog staring at me all afternoon, I finished my sewing machine cover, just in time for my Bernina, Bernice, to spend a cold night snuggled under it. As you can see, like Lynn, I didn't feel the need to include the pocket on my cover.

For some reason, Skipper and Sophie hate for me to work in the sewing room. One of these days, I'm going to take all my stuff downstairs and set up in the dining room, thus defeating half the reason for a sewing room (to keep the mess out of the dining room) and see if they'll leave me alone while I sew.

The cover is simple to make. It would have been an absolute cinch had it not been for the doggies pestering me and the fact that the instructions said "sew completely around bottom of project," which I followed to the letter. Of course, then I had to pull out part of the stitching in order to turn the cover right side out.

I had such an intense and disturbing (and long) dream last night. Not a nightmare, just troublesome. Like people and forces working against me and wearing me out. Driving a car whose brakes didn't work, watching an ex commit a crime, having late husband and his friend working against me, painting a house only to have the paint peeling off immediately, etc., etc., etc. This morning, the bed was completely tumbled. I usually only have to smooth the covers when I get up in the morning. But not this time. It looks like a big storm came through the house.

This morning I'm exhausted and feeling quite strange. I think I might know the cause. I have let my fibro med prescription run out and haven't taken it for two days. It's one of those drugs that comes with a explicit instruction to not stop taking without doctor's approval. I'll go today and get the prescription filled.

And I have plans for another project too. I bought a wreath form when I was at Hobby Lobby the other day. I want to make a Valentine's Day wreath for the front door, using fabric strips and hearts. But for right now, I'm going to go and have another cup of coffee, take a shower, and go and get my prescription.

Susan -
That sewing machine cover is just too dang cute and I love how the teapot motif's match your little mug next to it! Red, Yellow & Black is one of my favorite go-together color combinations. They just play off each other so well don't they?

I'm sorry you had such a fretful night. I've had those nights where one disturbing dream sequence just seemed to lead right into another and another all night long and then when I wake up I feel like I've gone 10 rounds with heaven knows who! But such a relief when you finally do wake up and realize that you are still in the safety & comfort of your own room & your own bed. God is still in control and all is well.

But yes, please do go get your medicine. I am on daily doses of BP meds which I can't stop taking either or I get very sick. So take good care of yourself and let us see a picture of that Valentine's wreath when you get it all fixed up ok?

Sending you positive vibes,
Linda :-)

not taking your meds was probably the culprit!!
Savella is what I take for my fibromyalgia. This disease is a terrible interruption in one's life. Sometimes I have to take Ibuprofen along with the meds.

Love the machine cover. Today is a sewing day for me. I would love to get my act together and put some things on Etsy. Money is always nice...

Your sewing machine cover turned out so cute! Makes me want to make one as well. I can empathize with your issue with the dogs pestering! Ozzie plagues the life out of me when I sit at the computer or the sewing machine. He brings me toys, steals my slippers and capers around for a chase, jumps up on me...He is such a dickens of a dog.

On 01/18/2012, Kai said ...

Wooooohoooo! Bernice is no longer nude! LOL! Seriously, that's what I call USING a craft item in a REALLY timely fashion! You made quick work of those new Hobby Lobby fabrics! The cover looks so bright and pretty and HAPPY. I know I always say things look 'happy', but I think you understand what I mean. Finally, cats do the same thing dogs do. For THAT matter, we ALL know children do, too. The MINUTE we get busy doing something we enjoy, there they are! Right in the middle of it. My cat Tarbaby (from when my daughter was little) would totally ignore me regardless of how much I tried to get her on my lap. But just LET me pick up a crocheting project & her fuzzy behind would plop right in the middle of it. SIGH. Now - if you HAVEN'T yet - go get your meds. It's lke my Prozac - I'm NOT supposed to stop taking it without the doc weaning me off it. (Tho' I know I'll be taking it my whole life.)

On 01/18/2012, Barbara Anne said ...

Charming snuggle garment for Bernice and I, too, love the fabrics. You've convinced me I need to scroll back and find the link for the instructions on how to make it - with note to self that you don't sew all the way around the bottom!

So sorry that you had such an exhausting night of upsetting dreams. Bother and bummer, but hope once back on your medicine you'll have sweet dreams once more. As you know, it is not good or safe to suddenly stop taking some medicines. Please don't go there again. AMIL has found that getting a 3 months supply of those meds that aren't too expensive is a real time and energy saver.

DH made a screen door for my sewing room with a hook on the inside so I can keep the cats out. I make a big enough mess in here and could not do with more mess. The screen door is the perfect solution for my situation!

Big hugs!

Hi Susan! Thanks for the encouraging words about my jounal peek-a-boo! It really is my very first attempt at such a thing after almost a year of drooling over all the wonderful collage artists and their work in Blogland. I'm so excited to be a part of this circle journal and to really work my hand at it. Hoping to get so much inspiration from studying everyone's work!

Your sewing projects look wonderful - really need to get my machine fixed. I want to make a couple of costumes but I'm having bobbin trouble and it needs a medic.

Speaking of medic - hope you are feeling better!!!!

Joy!

I was laughing to myself when I read about your dogs not liking you to sew. My dog is the same way. She paces, puts her head in my lap, nudges my arms, and growls in the hallway outside my sewing room to try to lure me out to see what she is seeing.

Poor girl! I hate having that kind of night! Last night I woke up and realized that I got my husband out of bed and told him "we have to go, we have to go now." when I woke up I was standing up talking to my husband. Weird. Definitely fill your script, I bet that's what it is. Love the sewing machine cover, especially the dots! Sleep well tonight!

On 01/19/2012, Deb Price said ...

Love that cover! Now I need to make one for my poor old machine...I really don't neglect her, just use her so much I never think she needs covering!
I know what you mean about weird dreams. It is the fibro meds! I, too, have not been taking them as I should. Sort of ran out and didn't get any more. When I started them again several days ago, I had the most horrible night! Kept thinking that some one was chasing me, then I was trapped somewhere, etc. I tell you, that really should be on the warning label!
Hope you are staying warmer than I am...it is blowing snow again and is a balmy 9! Someone really needs to remind me why I moved here!
Have a wonderful day!
Hugs....

A Fab Day

I just received a package from stepdaughter Amy. Look what it included.

Birdquilt
A sweet lap quilt top, made from beautiful bird and floral panels

Birdfab
Fabric to match

She also sent me a set of those round knitting looms that I've always wanted to try. And some beautiful yarn. What a girl! What a daughter! I love you, Scoots.

Yesterday I got a horrible attack of cabin fever and had to get out of the house--so, I went to Hobby Lobby--and look here what I got.

Machine cover fab
They were having a sale, and I fell to temptation. I'm going to use it to make my sewing machine cover. I've had some of both the M.E. tea pot print and the yellow bee print before. And I think I still have a couple of squares of the bee print in my 6" squares box.

Oh, and I also added a little bit to the back cover of my heart journal. The thing about doing art journals and altered books for me is that I never know when I'm done. But I think I am with this one.

Back Cover

OK, I'm going to the sewing room now. I did get my cutting table cleaned off yesterday before I had the cabin fever attack. So it's all ready for me to cut out that sewing machine cover.

It's Done!

In spite of complaints and objections from two furry folks yesterday, I finished my "Heart to Heart" journal.

Journal1
Front Cover

Journal2
Title Spread

Journal3
Intro and Sign-in (tags in heart pocket for signing)

Journal4
My Art Spread

Journal5
Back Cover (I think maybe it needs a small heart in the top left.)

I've left my cutting table in the sewing room an absolute mess, so I hope to get that cleaned up today. Then I might work on that sewing machine cover. Haven't decided for sure. Have y'all seen Lynn's sewing machine cover that she made from the tutorial I linked? If not, go look. It's darling.
You'll love her fabric.

Happy MLK Day, everyone. I leave you with a quote from that great man:

"I believe that unarmed truth and unconditional love will have the final word."

I pray he was right.

Then I'll haul out the batting, cut the pieces I need, and commence to begin some humble machine quilting (after some de-cluttering). UFOs, here I come!

WOW, WOW, DOUBLE WOW! Your journal is the epitomy of feminity & class! Soooo pretty! Mine all look like junk piles. LOL! As for the craft room clean-up ... sigh. I have to do that, too. AGAIN. Didn't I just CLEAN this room? But I try to see my messes as proof that I MADE something, & that helps. A bit. Not much. Especially when I'm picking up snippets of paper out of the carpet, when I step on an errant pin or brad, when I find glitter in body cavities that should not be decorated, etc. Still - I will clean it up and mess it up again & again. I hope! One more thing. I LOVE that quote from MLK. FORGIVE ME AHEAD OF TIME because I went to my own blog & posted it. I want everyone who visits you AND me to SEE that. I BELIEVE it with all my heart. If enough OTHER people read it, believe it, and LIVE it, won't we be SO much better for it? LOVE YOU, SUSAN! Have I told you lately what an awesome human being you are? If not, SHAME on me!
