I whipped up another hat yesterday for Ramey, using my second skein of Peruvian wool. This one was even quicker than the blue one. I'm on a roll now! I want to crochet some more.
Had a great meeting last night with my Walk to Emmaus Reunion Group. There was more food than we could possibly eat--but we gave it a try. I was really off my diet. Mostly veggies though, so I wasn't really all that bad--except for the pie.
My "Africa" book has received the honor of being chosen for home page art at the Cloth Paper Studio group. CPS is a group of mixed-media artists who love to share their work with each other.
I haven't decided what I'll work on today, but I'm pretty sure it will be something at the sewing machine. I would really like to end this year with NO UFOs on my list. Wouldn't that be nice?

Congratulations on the honor you received for your amazing Africa book at your Cloth Paper Studio group! For how long a time will your book be the home page art?
Another hat?! Do you blink and another one comes into being? You are certainly on a roll!
Ah, what a wonderful thought it is to end the year with no UFOs and this is really the time of year to begin working toward that lofty goal. November would be waaaaay too late to start!
Hugs!

What wonderful news about your Africa book! So glad that others will have an opportunity to see it.
Susan, your hats are darling. I know is expecting some cold weather on February 4... maybe snow. Even if we don’t have really cold weather, the mornings and nights are definitely on the cold side and what a perfect time for a cute hat!

Love the hats!! They are addictive, aren't they? My husband was diagnosed with cancer last year and has been receiving chemo treatments and I've made him several beanies for his bald head. Any extras I make I take and put in the basket at the oncologist's office for others to enjoy. Does a heart good!
