Ramey came over last night for our weekly viewing of the latest episode of "Justified." I'm catching up with the characters a little better now. I watched the entire first disk of Season One yesterday.
Ramey loves her hats. She even brought me a pattern to make her this scarf. I had seen it before on Pinterest and thought it might be fun to make. So now I have a reason. Have to go yarn shopping though. I don't have any fox-colored yarn in my meager yarn stash. I think Vanna's Choice yarn would be a good one for this.

And I also want to make this....

Rick Rack Baskets, by Glenna Hailey
Is that not one of the brightest, happiest, prettiest quilts you've ever seen? I'm putting it on my to-do list and hope I get around to it some day.
Miss Daisy Dog came to visit on Monday. She's staying with us while her folks go to Florida to welcome their newest grandchild to the world. She's being her typical sweet self. I wish Skipper and Sophie could learn a few manners from her. Except last night she did want very much to snuggle up to Ramey. But Ramey was not really averse to her snuggling, She's even more of a dog person than I am, if that's possible.
Got to be going now. I have to make a trip to the p.o. to mail my Heart to Heart journal off to Jeanne. Today is our mail day. Have a great Hump Day, everyone.

What a cute fox scarf!! He looks a bit surprised with those googly eyes!
Of course Ramey loves the hats you made for her. What's not to love?!
Speaking of love, I love that happy basket quilt and it's fabrics. The rick-rack basket handles look quicker to make than the appliqued handles and the border is wonderful. I also like the on-point setting that has the baskets standing up.
Please give your three babies some cuddles from me!
Hugs!

Ah, Susan, you are such a typical quilting addict! Yesterday you commented that you would like to finish up all your UFOs by the end of the year, and today you find a new project to start! Oh, how many times have I done the same thing!

HI Susan! Oh, that little fox scarf is so darling!! I might try to make one of these too. Thanks for the link to the pattern. The quilt is so gorgeous and to me looks like it would take a looooong time to make. Well, it would me.
I sent my journal to you this morning. I had picked up a box at the Post Office not realizing how much it would cost to mail it - $16.00! So, when you get ready to send it off in March, feel free to put it in another box if you want too. I'm so sorry, I should have just found a regular little ole box but I got fancy and picked up the 'if it fits, it ships' one. I can't wait to see what you do in my journal. I know you'll do wonders. I scrolled down and saw the other one you made about sewing! :)
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
