Boogie Fever

BoogieFeverSkipperThis is Skipper, debunking that great groundhog Puxatawney Phil's prediction for six more weeks of bad weather. Don't believe it, says my hole-digging doggie. He's doing a "come on, spring" dance that he says is sure to work. Skipper has a combination of Boogie Fever and Spring Fever.

Last night I crocheted one fox leg and watched three more episodes of "Justified."

I also attended bell choir practice. I agreed to play with the group at this Sunday's church service. Pray for me that I don't make the whole group sound like a flock of dying geese.

HAPPY GROUNDHOG DAY TO ALL

Too cute! Don't you wish you could bottle that energy and take a sip as needed?

Hope you're playing smaller bells and that playing the bells won't take a toll on you (sorry, another corny pun).

Am working on a UFO so I have something to report for tomorrow. Back to it. Will try to send you a picture later today.

Hugs!

Have you noticed that Skipper and the fox scarf have the same color markings on the tails? It looks like the tip of the tale has been dipped in white paint. I love it! And what an adorable picture of Skipper - you can see the tip of his tongue. And the expression in his eye shows only love....

Somehow I missed your post yesterday of the fox scarf - it is incredible and would be so much fun to wear.

Today I was reading a little story about the power of music. One person described listening to music in church as the "kind of experience that transports you.” The music in her church helped her to "understand the connection between music and spirit.” Susan, the bells have the ability to transport listeners. I think it is wonderful that you are providing others with the opportunity to enjoy ethereal tones, to become transported from every day thoughts, and focus on the spiritual.

Skipper looks like he's not buying Phil's shadow nonsense! How IS the hole digging project? Did the new landscaping deter him at all? The ground is frozen here so our digging to China expedition is on hiatus for the time-being!
Enjoy your bell choir stint! It sounds like lots of fun and something different to try!

Good morning Susan, I am sighing in relief that the journal is on it's way to Beverly. She should receive it today. I am also looking forward to receiving yours. Believe me it was a challenge for a non crafter like me. I came over to tell you I posted most of it today. I did have fun and inspiration doing the journal. I can't wait to do more.

Skipper is a real cutie. We love our Cheri' too. I was intrigued when you said you finished a fox leg. HA! So I scrolled down to catch up with your previous post. I LOVE the fox scarf. I wish I could crochet. However, if I did, I would never have time to visit you. I also loved the hat. Clever you. The quilt is like sunshine so bright and pretty. I think you should make it for sure. I started quilt lessons and my second lesson is this morning. I have had lessons but I need to know more.

Whew, this is a long comment. Anyway, happy days to you today.
Hugs, Jeanne

Skipper is so cute - dancing around and wiggling his little body all around. Good progress on the fox scarf! My daughter's high school has a superb bell choir and I really love their concerts. You'll do fine and no one will confuse you with a dying goose. Ha! Have a great weekend.
