New Sewing Machine

Thurs1

It's about two inches high, and my foot won't fit the pedal. But I love it all the same. Now the Yellow Doll House has a sewing machine.

Ramey brought me a couple of treasures (see below) for the doll house too. She painted these herself, and they are very tiny.

Thurs2

It is, as Aunt Edna used to say, raining straight down this morning. Actually, the term gully-washer comes to mind. I had planned to run some errands today, but I think those plans have changed. Nothing needs doing that won't keep till tomorrow.

Do you ever just suddenly think of something, maybe something you've owned a while back, and wonder what happened to it? Do y'all remember this?

For some reason, this popped into my mind yesterday, and I can't remember what I did with it. I remember that I was going to hang it in the dining room, I think. But it isn't hanging there. I found the frame at a yard sale, maybe a year or so ago. And I framed some of my fabric postcards in it. Now what did I do with that thing?

Ok, the doggies are getting impatient. They want me to play. So bye for now. And don't forget tomorrow is UFO Progress Report Day.

I need a sewing machine like yours ... so cute!! Your sister has a very steady hand to paint the rolling pin and bottle! Adorable!
I put things away too and can't remember where I put them :( You will find it I am sure!
It is raining here too. I am ready for Spring and it hasn't really been too cold!
Hugs,
Donna

Those new additions to your little yellow house will be so cute! Those little scissors on the sewing machine table must be itsy-bitsy!

Oh, goodness...don't you just hate it when you forget things!!? I hope you find the item. Did you look in the refrigerator? LOL...
Your doll house items are soooo cute! So life-like and adorable!!!! Ramey did a great job!
It rained, or I should say, POURED down here yesterday. It was raining cats and dogs! By the time I got ready to go home, it had stopped. That was a good thing because I hate to drive in weather like that.
You be safe and dry,
Brenda

The little bitty sewing machine, bottle, and rolling pin are utterly charming! Good job with the painting, Ramey! Where did you find a treadle machine that tiny?

Oh, you know your wall hanging frame will be in the last place you look - because when you find it, you stop looking, of course! Have you looked in all of the drawers and closets it will fit into in the room where you intended to hang it? Under a bed? Is it still in the room where you added the fabric postcards? Could it be stashed with a red quilt? I wish you inspiration so its whereabouts pop into your mind soon.

Rain is in our forecast for tonight and tomorrow but we've had 3 lovely sunny days. I'm still hoping for some winter and snow so the bugs won't be bad.

Hugs!

The little sewing machine and kitchen accessories are absolutely adorable! I bet some miniature quilts will just fly right off the sewing machine!

I agree with Barbara Anne about the weather....I saw an azalea bloom today - this has never ever happened in January - this plant has always bloomed the first week in April. And I’ve seen daffodils in bloom this past week...

Those minis are precious! And, holy COW, Ramey! How'd you even SEE to do that painting, much LESS actually do it so beautifully? Had to grin over the misplaced item! My former Mother-in-law was THE sweetest woman EVER. And she had a habit of misplacing everything so she kept anything of real importance all in one place. Yep. The fridge. All her important papers were in a plastic bag TAPED to the SIDE of the fridge. And where do you suppose she kept her dentures at night? Uh-huh! In a glass IN THE FRIDGE. Trust me, that was something of a surprise the first time I saw those choppers front and center on the shelf. LOL! You'll find your pretty framed postcards! And stay in out of that rain. Just cozy-up with the doggy people! LOVE YOU!
