Good news from last weekend's QuiltFest 2007, Birmingham Quilters Guild show: My Elvis journal quilts took a second place ribbon as an art series, and my Peace quilts took a third place in the same category.
Since I missed the show (due to my beach retreat), I wasn't there to collect my ribbons. Patty has them and will bring them to me at guild meeting in July. They're handmade ribbons (made by Joie), and I'll show them here when I get them.

Congratulations! Winning a ribbon is always gives one such a great satisfaction about one's art. And two is twice as nice.
