A few weeks ago, I read on Vivian's blog how she had dyed shipping tags with Easter egg dye. I was intrigued and decided to try it myself. Here are my results.

When I had dyed as many tags as I thought I would use in a lifetime, I still had lots of dye left. So I got out some used dryer sheets I had been saving for who-knows-what and dyed some of them. Here's what they look like.
I used one of the dryer sheets, one of the purple ones, as the background for my "Peace Dove" journal quilt (See "Thrice Honored" below). I'm going to use some of the tags for the "Frogs, Snakes, Lizards, etc." shipping tag swap on CPS.
