Last night, we all gathered at my sister Ramey's house to honor my beautiful niece India on her birthday.
India's sister and brother-in-law, Buffy and Jason, brought the cake, which was a work of art both visually and gustatorily.
Jason is a wonderful cook and baker. The cake, which he created, came from where ever it is that he works, the name of which has completely flown out of my mind. Anyway, the cake was chocolate--I mean CHOCOLATE! There was so much chocolate in the thing that I had heart palpitations until about 3:00 this morning and couldn't sleep. And I only ate a small piece. And, boy! was it good!
We talked and laughed and ate and opened gifts. But through it all, although India was the intended honoree, guess who stole the spotlight?
Reed Daniel Agan--runny nose and all.
