We're here! It's so good to be back at the PC condo. Kim has added a few more decorative touches since last summer. It's fun to look around and pick out the new stuff.
We ate at Somebody's Crab Shack last night. Bill's maybe? Something like that. Anyway, I had the blackened grouper, and wow! it was great. Best grouper I ever ate. Vann had shrimp and crab cakes. He said it was great too.
This morning after breakfast (fresh peaches, and the last of the zucchini bread), I made gaspacho. First time I've ever made it. I forgot to bring my vegetable chopper from home and had to chop by hand, so it took forever. It's in the fridge now, marrying its flavors. It's looks beautiful. I'm not going to post photos from the beach because downloading them here is a lot of trouble and slow. I'll do a photo story when I get home.
OK. I'm going to the shower now. Then I'm going to cut out the pieces for Lacy and Jared's baby's quilt.
We miss Sophie.

Gazpacho is my favorite thing to eat on a hot summer day. It is so healthy, and really hits the spot when it is too hot to cook. I don't know if I would consider making it without my Cuisinart though! Too much chopping!
