We're getting up very early here at the beach. You'd think we'd take the opportunity to sleep late, but something gets us out bed shortly after sunrise each morning.
This morning, after coffee on the balcony, we went to Thomas's for donuts. I know I shouldn't have, but who can resist those wonderful sour cream donuts? Not me?
We got back to the condo at about 8:00, and I finished sewing the flying geese blocks for the baby quilt. Now all I have to do is assemble all the blocks and borders, and the top will be finished.
I'm about 3/4 finished with the Joshilyn Jackson book. I've accomplished more in the two days I've been at the beach than I would get done in a month at home--at least with sewing and reading.
Vann says we could download photos if I like, but I'm still thinking I'll wait until I get home and do a photo story of the entire trip.
Something has been very wrong with my right foot since I've been here; walking has been painful and difficult. But this morning, the foot feels better, so maybe I'll get some more beach walking done this afternoon.
Oh boy! Do we miss our Sophie dog!

I'm so behind on my blog reading, but was happy to see you are having a nice vacation at the beach. I have a cousin who lives in a condo on the beach. The photos I've seen of the gulf coast are gorgeous.

Isn't Thomas's the best? The only thing I didn't like was the loooong line.
