Cautiously Optimistic
For the first morning in years, I woke up pain free this morning. After I got out of bed, I loaded the dishwasher, fed the animals, let Skipper out and back in--still on my feet and still no pain.
To be safe, I sat down with a cup of coffee and my book. But I got impatient. So much to do and feeling pretty good, so why not do a little more. So I did a few loads of laundry, including sheets and coverlet. I became aware of a tightness in my back where the pain usually is, and shortly thereafter, pain--but not awful pain as I would normally have after being on my feet not nearly that long. Maybe a 2 (on that 1-10 pain scale).
I immediately got off my feet and the little bit of pain I was feeling went away. Andy came in with an order of groceries she had picked up for me, and with lunch from KFC. She put the groceries away, we ate, and then we watched a movie. ("Joe Bell" on Prime. I can't recommend it enough. Wonderful movie, but sad.)
Before Andy left, she brought in my coverlet which was hanging to dry on the back porch and put the sheets on my bed. What would I ever do without Andy and Jesse?

Glory hallelujah!! May all of your days be like today was. Very wise of you to sit when your back said to and am overjoyed the pain didn't get worse!!!!!!!!!
Be sure to smile and hug yourself as you consider all you were able to do.
Thank God for loving helpers like Andy and Jesse, too.
Hugs!

I am glad you are feeling better, and that you have help while you recover. I hope the procedure takes and you become pain free.
