The more I looked at the black/red doggie rosette, the more I didn’t like that grey/pink center. So I made one that I think works better, removed the old, and replaced it with the new. It wasn’t at all difficult and didn’t take long. And I’m much happier with this rosette now.
I also made the one above yesterday. If my count is correct, I now have 16 finished rosettes. I have number 17 cut out and prepared to stitch. So while Skipper naps beside me and “The Golden Girls” marathon goes on and on, I think I’ll get to work on it.

Yes, indeed, that red center looks wonderful in the middle of this rosette. I also like the new rosette! Well done and applause, applause for your progress. It's not even July yet so you're doing great!

The pink and gray center definitely didn't fit with the other colors in the rosette. If you're like me your eye would have gone to it every time you looked at your quilt, so it was worth taking the time to change it. The new one is so much better.
