Rolling, Rolling, Rolling

DSC_0022Cutting is very hard for me as I can be on my feet for only a short time before the back pains gets intolerable. And I just simply have not been able to get the hang of cutting while sitting. But I did get three more blocks cut out for Crown of Thorns, plus some sashing strips.

I have made what feels like some significant progress already today. I got several more blocks cut out for my Crown of Thorns quilt, got both “Witch Hunt” and “The Bow Wow Bunch” trimmed and ready for binding, got binding cut for “Witch Hunt,” and ordered a Roomba.

I keep falling farther and farther behind on this vacuuming deal. It takes me days to do the entire downstairs (Jesse takes care of upstairs, except for sewing room), and before I can get it all done, the dust, dirt, and pet hair are nipping at my heels. It was either hire a full-time vacuumer, or get the Roomba. My sister has one as do many of my friends. And most of them love it.

One more task today: I promised Jesse beef stew for supper tonight. So here I go to get it stewing. Then I think I’ll start a new book as soon as I decide what I want to read next.

Well done in getting the strips cut for the Crown of Thorns blocks, and trimming both Witch Hunt and Bow Wow Bunch as well as getting that binding made. Progress, girlfriend, so give yourself credit!

Hope the beef stew went in the Crock Bot so you could sit while it cooked. Your home must have smelled divine while it cooked, too!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Hugs!
