I still have a huge bin full of autumn and Halloween fabrics. I’ve been thinking of what next Halloween project I could start when it all of a sudden occurred to me. I’ve been wanting to do a quilt using Freddy Moran’s “Garden Ladies” patterns, but I didn’t want to use the floral prints like everyone uses to make this quilt. I want mine to be different.
I don’t know if anyone else has used “Garden Ladies” patterns to make witch blocks or not, but that’s my plan. I got my first one made today.
I had to adjust Freddy’s pattern to make the pointy witch hat. And being the math wizard that I’m not, that was no easy task. I can’t wait to create my next witch.
In recognition of this very unusual period in history that we are experiencing, I have decided to call my quilt “Witch Hunt: No Collusion.”
My part of the world is experiencing a severe thunderstorm at this very moment. I love thunderstorms. Skipper and I are smuggled on the couch, enjoying the pouring rain and rumbling thunder.

Love this idea and witch No 1! Well done on her hat, too.
I have a few things to finish up but want to make another Halloween something from my extra fabrics,.
Send rain, please and thank you. :)
Hugs!
