Backing Done
Yesterday afternoon and this morning, I pieced a backing for the Bow Wow quilt. I used pieces of fabric from my stash, some that I used in the quilt top, so I didn't have to purchase extra fabric. In all, the only fabric I have purchased for this quilt are three quarter yards of green, because I didn't have enough of the right shade for the block backgrounds.
I purchased this doggie fabric (I don't remember where or when) a long time ago. It has just been waiting to help me finish my Bow Wow quilt. Don't you just love those beasties?

Applause, applause! What a great and perfect backing for this wonderful doggie quilt.
As I've thought about this quilt, that 1950s song "How Much is that Doggie in the window" came to mind. Do you remember that song?
I'm winding bobbins this afternoon and finished taking the outer border off of Dreamsicle as its lime green border was just too wide and yelled too laoudly..
Hugs!

Ah, I love it! Have you decided it you are hand quilting or machine quilting? I am so excited to see it when it is done!
