More wonderful creative quilts! Thank you for posting more pictures for us to enjoy. Applause for each of these talented quilters! It's eye candy at it's best, IMHO.

Today I finally got the first two block made for a commission quilt using the block from Quilted in Honor called Ribbon Star, It's not the Ribbon Star block I've seen in many quilting books but it's nice.

Hugs!

I am responding to a much earlier post in which you asked if anyone's fibro had gotten worse or better. Mine seems better in many respects because I retired from teaching. I have even retired from taking almost all of my sleeping medication. That feels so wonderful to know I can get myself to fall asleep on my own. When I wake up during the night, I can get myself to fall asleep back on my own. It saves $95 a month, too!

What is worse though, is that my flare ups come quicker. My specialist said one could expect a flare up two weeks after a big stress. Mine come about one or two days after a big stress. I'm 67 now and I'm just about unable to handle too much more stress. We've had huge family stress this year and it's taken a huge toll. I'm religious so I've gotten even more religious.

In some ways this year I've gotten slower. I love how you are doing lots of puzzles. I've bought lots more fabric to counter my stresses this year. I keep saying I can never die because I have too many quilts to sew. Maybe I should get a puzzle instead of fabric? I also read a lot. I am finding that I nap everyday now. I try to keep it to an hour so I can sleep at night. I am working at my exercise, too. The arthritis is a pain, but everyone gets it at some point. It is proof that we are alive, I guess. I am thinking that I'm going to get a cortisone shot for my left shoulder. I sure don't want surgery. I just had a tooth implant done, too. What I'm saying is that everyone just has all these issues. It doesn't matter who writes this because each person could list a long line of all the aches and pains of old age.

I love how you laugh hard at your 'adventures' of dropping the dish! That is awesome!! That will keep you as healthy as anything. I say with fibro, take all the meds you want and don't worry about what anyone else thinks. Laugh, rest, eat, enjoy, and live how you feel comfortable. What matters is that we are kind to each other. When we dying, what we will care about are our family and our friends. So I'm caring right now about them.
