See Bella's tail? She helped.
I had a productive day yesterday. I got the instructions written and test block made for the guild's February block of the month (see photo). Then in the evening, Jesse had some errands to run and after that, we went to my favorite Mexican restaurant. I had a taco salad and Jesse had nachos. We came home thoroughly stuffed and sluggish. But it felt great to get out and do something fun.
The flu seems to be settling in my eyes now--or something has. Last night they were so itchy and burning and watering that I couldn't read, so I watched "Donnie Brasco" on one of the cable channels. I love mob movies, and this one is one of the best--but also one of the saddest. I guess because it's a true story.
I'm doing laundry today. I had quite a pile accumulated and decided I'd better start working on it before I run completely out of clean clothes. I'm already down to the dregs.
Time to give the mutts their lunch.

Beautiful test block! I love the colors AND the design! And you had SUCH a good helper! (That's MY 'tail' & I'm sticking to it - hahaha!)I'm glad you feel better (except for the eyes) and were able to get out & about some! YUM to the Mexican food. Sigh - the closest thing I get to 'Mexican' food these days is Lean Cuisine's Enchilada Suiza. It's DELICIOUS, but veeeeery tiny. As for Donnie Brasco, I ALSO love that movie! I thought Johnny Depp ROCKED in it! 'Course, I pretty much like Johnny in ANYTHING! Hope you keep feeling better & better & better & ...!!! LOVE YOU!

Ah, the photo is nearly "where the woozle wasn't" to quote Pooh!
Love the block you made. That 3 triangle unit is one of my favorite and I've used in in a couple of borders with pleasing results. The way I make them, I get two but one has a right side large triangle and the other has it on the left, a mirror image.
Glad you're feeling better and could get out for food and fun plus do some laundry. I went thru a phase with very teary eyes, too. Bother!
