86-year-old German gymnast Johnanna Quaas does amazing work on the parallel bars. I could hardly get out of bed this morning.
The lady in the photo above is almost 20 years older than me. What has she got that I haven't got? I'm not sure I even want to know.
With the fibro at bay, my back cooperating, and the carpel tunnel back to normal, I thought I would have smooth sailing for a few days. So I got out of bed this morning to find that I can hardly put any weight on my left knee without huge pain. I don't remember doing anything to it. But something is certainly awry. I give thanks for the fact that at least it won't keep me from sitting at the computer to get some BOM work done or on the couch to finish embroidery on my Dollhouse Living Room block. I hope.
We got good rains yesterday, so I don't have to worry about watering anything. Likely to have more today.
I guess I best get going on some of my tasks now before something else on me stops working. Have a great day, all.

Glad you're feeling better today......except for your danged knee! Take it easy and maybe that joint will loosen up and be fine by this evening.

Ha, I'm not sure I'm buying the 86 yr old gymnast thing, I think someone superimposed her head on someone else's body. Look at those legs, not a hint of varicose veins or cottage cheese anywhere. Now my mother in law bless her heart is 83 yrs old and still works 40 hours a week as a custodian at an apartment complex so I think she's an absolute wonder and she runs circles around me, but she still doesn't have legs like this gal. Oh well, I guess we can't all be young forever. I'm sorry about your knee, you may have just laid in an awkward position while you were sleeping, I've done that. I hope it feels better very soon and that your fibro-monster remains on vacation too! Sending you blessings.

Here's to making the best use of your abilities and sewing just 'cause you can and want to! Wish I'd be overtaken by creativity and energy.
Sorry to hear your knee is causing your pain. Could one of the dogs slept with you in a part of the bed that made your knee stay bent? I ask this because the worst knee pain I had (and was in my 20s at the time) was because we had a large dog who insisted on sleeping at the foot of my side of the bed, meaning my left knee was bent every night. After several weeks, that knee really hurt so the dog was evicted. Hope you find the cause and it's something you can change so you knee is happy again.
Hugs!

Oh, boy! Is THAT ever intimidating. I'm going to be 62 in a couple of months & I KNOW where all her signs of old age went. STRAIGHT TO MY BODY. Sigh. I really admire her, tho'! Do I want to try that? Ummm ... no way. I'll be happy just to manage SQUATS again. I DO a lot of exercise but anything involving this cursed shattered kneecap is off limits. Anyway, tell that hateful Fibromonster Kai says, "TAKE A HIKE, and leave my Susan alone!" LOVE YOU!!!

Wow, amazing. Whatever she has, I don't. But, good for her.
I've missed you, Susan. But, I've been crazy ... busy.
