A Week of Dirt and Flowers

Old Fibromonster has lain pretty low this week, and the back problems have been but an aggravation. So I made me some hay while the sun shines--and boy! has the sun ever been shining! It's hot as chile peppers here.

I have made mucho progresso in the back yard. Pictures later. I'm not finished, but then I probably never will be. That project promises to remain a work in progress.

We have two more members in the Dollhouse Block of the Month: Colleen and Pam. Welcome ladies. At some point, I'll post a list of all members in my sidebar. I know, like me, everyone is anxious to see your blocks. At least one member is doing hand applique.

I have a wonderful Skipper story to tell from an incident on Wednesday. But not today. Maybe tomorrow. Today, it's back to the backyard, if Jesse shows up to be my lifter. I have an unfinished planting project that requires some muscle to get the planter out of the garage and into the backyard.

Because I've spent all my spoons gardening this week, I have little sewing/quilting progress to report. I'm almost finished with my first Dollhouse block, but rather than show you an almost finished block, I'd rather show you the pictures of the quilt show quilts that I didn't get posted before. After you've enjoyed the quilt show, be sure to post a link to your blog with Mr. Linky so that we can all see what's been going on in your life this week.

Ah Shucks! I thought I would be able to put names with these quilts. But I've lost the document that has the names of all the entrants, so I guess you'll just have to enjoy the quilts without knowing the names of the talented quilters.

And thanks again to my friend Sharon Bull who took these pictures and sent them to me.

Applause on your gardening accomplishments! I think all gardening, whether flowers, veggies, or fruits is always a work in progress because it seems weeds grow fastest.

Love the quilts and enjoyed the search for creative placement of 9-patch blocks!

Wishing your spoon supply restored!

Hugs!

Through with my outside landscaping, except watering and pulling pesty weeds and grass that grow in my mulch. So glad that's over with. Yours is looking mighty fine. Didn't knock out any of those UFO's but I haven't made any new one either, so I guess that's good.
