I joined one of Linnea's I Spy Charm Square swaps, and here are my squares--200 of them (10 from each of 20 fabrics). I will mail them off to Linnea and then receive 200 different 4" squares. I love these swaps. Gives me lots of material, already cut, from which to make cuddle quilts and baby quilts.
Yesterday was a very busy day. First, I dropped Sophie off at the groomer. Then Ramey and India came for lunch. Afterwards, I made trips to the post office, the drug store, and the service station, where I mortgaged my house to fill up my gas tank (just kidding there). At some point during all this rushing, I finished cutting out my charm squares (see above).
In the afternoon, I picked up Sophie, rushed home to feed the dogs and me, and then it was off to Ding-a-Ling (bell choir) practice. After practice, we transported all the bells and set-up stuff over to the Family Live Center across the street. We'll be playing there on Sunday morning since the santuary is shut down for rennovation. Pastor Chip told us Sunday that the pews are going to be red! I can't wait to see them.
After all the rushing hither and yon, I could hardly stay awake last night to watch "Criminal Minds." I'm hoping for a lighter schedule today. But I do have Bible study tonight and I haven't read all my lesson, so I'd better go do that now.
Don't forget UFO Progress Report tomorrow.

What delightful fabrics and I especially love the ME fabric with the many books and the little girls reading. I have some of that charming fabric and fussy cut around one little girl whose book stack includes Joy of Cooking and fused it to an apron for AMIL who has worn out one copy of Joy of Cooking!
You've had a brilliant idea to use charm squares for donation quilts and cuddle quilts. They will be colorful and fun!
Hope your day is pleasant, productive, and relaxed.
Hugs!

That charm square exchange is a cool idea. One of these days I'm going to join one.
I'm sure that Sophie was just the cutest little lady after she came home from the groomers!

Hi Susan, Boy, you have really been running the roads. Your fabric squares look so pretty and colorful. I am still in the learning stages of quilting. I am taking lessons and loving it.
Your journal is in the mail to Beverly. I loved doing your pages. I will post them for Pink Saturday. I hope you like what I did. Lots of PINK! This has been a lovely experience for me.
Have a great weekend.
Hugs, Jeanne
