Joanne, Ramey, and I had a wonderful supper last night. We ate until we could eat no more. Then Joanne went home and Ramey and I settled in for an episode of "The River," which was a bit lame in our estimation, and an episode of "Justified," which, in my own opinion, went too far afield. Maybe it's just that most of the interesting characters have been killed off, mostly thanks to our "hero" Raylan. Oh well, it was a great evening. Thanks sisters, for being my bookends.
Skipper and I dropped Miss Sophie off at the groomer this morning. I instructed the groomer to be easy with the clippers this time. Last time, she almost shaved my girl.
I had an epiphany during the night as to how to add my "Mama" photos to my "Through the Looking Glass" challenge quilt. I'll give details on Friday when I give my UFO Progress Report. And now, it's off to the sewing room to get started.
Happy Sadie Hawkins Day (Leap Day), everyone.

I envy the closeness you share with your sisters! My MIL lives in Canada and her sisters are in The Netherlands; every time she travels there, she comes back with stories of the bonds between the sisters and the wonderful times they share. My older sister is in heaven, and my younger sister lives in the Midwest. You are truly blessed to have your sisters close by and to be in a loving relationship with them!

What a wonderful photo you found to depict you, Ramey, and Joanne as you could have been had you had that many dogs when you were children - oh, and those charming dresses, too! So glad you three could gather to enjoy such a wonderful feast and enjoy each other's company, too. Sweet!
Hope Sophie gets just a trim today.
Today would have been my Mama's 24th birthday. She used to tease that she got a year older only every 4th calendar year when Feb. 29th appeared. She died in 2004 after having Alzheimer's for at least 3 years (but when did it really start?). I still miss her.
I look forward to seeing "Through the Looking Glass" and your new idea on Friday.
Hugs!
