I'm a little late today. I had one of those crushing fatigue attacks yesterday afternoon after returning from grocery shopping, and although I feel better this morning, I'm still pretty sluggish.
And the weather is threatening today. Schools and businesses are closing early ahead of strong thunderstorms and possible tornadoes. This kind of atmospheric conditions always make me feel awful. So when I finish posting, I'm going to lie down with my book and my dogs.
I got all my Mama photos transferred to fabric for my "Through the Looking Glass" challenge quilt. And I had an idea how I'm going to attach them. I'm going to have the basic nine-patch unit machine quilted. I'm going to separately sew borders and backing onto my photos, make little miniquilts of each of them, and attach them to each of the blank squares on the quilt after it is quilted. Maybe use buttons and button them onto the patches.
Below is Blogless Barbara's report for this week.

"The center 12" block was bought at a guild donation table when I was still a fairly new quilter in about 1994," writes Barbara. " It's now going to join the rotation of the little quilts that hang in our little entry hall when their time on the calendar rolls around."
Below is trust old Mr. Linky. Please share us what you've been doing this week.
If you're in the path of this bad weather, please batten down and take care.

Cheers for your excellent and creative idea for how to put your mother's photos on your "Through the Looking Glass" quilt. Love the thought of buttons to attach the quilted blocks to the quilt and perhaps the buttons could come from her sewing box? Your mother certainly was a lovely woman and a darling baby!
Thank you once again for posting my tad of progress.
Hope everyone remembers to link up!
The weather here is forecast to be stormy and/or rainy for the next 24 hours and the rain has already started. Stay safe and I hope you feel lots better. Would some aspirin or Percogesic help?
Hugs!

Hi Susan ~ internet has been in and out...so I'm trying to link up while I can and before heavier rain begins.
Love your creativeness with your mother's photos! And Barbara Anne has a pretty block to work on!
Hope you'll feel better soon, Susan!

Love your Mom's quilt. Sure am glad to see you weathered the storms.. I know what you mean, my fibro is so much worse when bad weather arrives. It doesn't seem like the "normal" pills will calm it and I sure don't want to start taking anything stronger. How do you get yours to calm down?

Hi Susan, I just checked back in tonight to see if anyone else had signed in....and my link wasn't there...must have happened during one of the outages. So I'm trying again, and it's up there for now anyway. Thanks for hosting!

Good morning Susan, Your mom's photos on your quilt squares are so sweet. My friend made a quilt like that. I know you will get it put together in a lovely way.
We were very close to some towns that had tornado damages but we are fine.
I have the journal and it is so awesome. I'm getting started with my idea right away. It arrived yesterday. Your pages in person are delightful. I am so glad you are happy with my pages in your journal.
Feel better and get some rest. My pup follows me everywhere including the bathroom. HA! We adore our pets don't we.
Love, Jeanne
