Poll Watching

302515_251174101603983_100001341861235_611781_65259251_n

I have never been a poll watcher in my life--but I'm gonna be one today. My dear cousin Paige, who is running for Alabama District 45 state congressional representative asked me if I would. And since I made the promise that I would do anything I could to help with her campaign that I could, I said yes. I'm supposed to make sure everything goes according to hoyle, and there are no shenanigans. I'm not sure I'll know a shenanigan if I see one, but I'm going to be eagle eyed and alert anyway.

If you happen to live in Alabama congressional district 45, please bundle up and go out and vote for Paige today. Our communities, people, and schools need her honesty, intelligence, wisdom, experience, and dedication working for us. The alternative is more of the same that has put our state near the bottom in every category there is--from education to economics to honest government.

Paige would have my vote if I lived in her district - or state!

Happy poll watching. Sadly, there is a need for vigilance since some people take the scary view that the ends justify the means and that just has NO place in an election!! NO WAY, NO HOW!!

Chilly and rainy here and I should be sewing.

Hugs!

Susan, I got behind on my blogs but loved catching up with your life, my you've been busy. I LOVE Bentley, you did a marvelous job bringing that bear to life, I'm thrilled you found a hat for him. Dating!! OMG, good luck with that, I'm happy you had a nice evening, what a leap of faith, even agreeing to go to dinner, I'm proud of you for being so brave. We played the game Apples to Apples on Thanksgiving Day and loved it, if you've not played it give it a try. Good Luck with your Poll Watching, and to your cousin Paige. It's hard to find good folks who are willing to run for public office, I hope all goes well.
