I love haunted houses.
Happy Halloween to you all. The TorTing has already started at The Yellow House. My nephew Reed and his Ma came by last night and got to make the initial dips into the treat bag.
I'm trying to decided whether or not to shut Sophie and Skipper in my bedroom tonight while the ghosties and goblins come for their treats. The two of them are such a nuisance when anyone comes to the door--especially Skipper. He'll run out when the door is open, so I have to hold him and give out treats at the same time. At least Sophie will stay inside or on the front porch. But some of the kids are afraid of any dogs, so I think I'll try shutting them in the bedroom. That's going to be interesting.
But today, I have three goals--and I already forgot what one of them is.
First goal is to get my office straightened up. Do or die, that's my main goal. Second goal is to mail my two swaps off. Third goal (now I remember) is to write and send my quilt guild BOM article for the newsletter.

Yep, I'm with you on putting the dogs or at lease Skipper into lock down so you won't wear yourself out riding herd on him/them. Would they do better in the basement because there is less to tear up?

Yup, the dogs do go nutz! Since our daughter is sick with a cold, and the yard is full of a dead tree hubby cut down, I've decided to turn off all lights, and not answer the door...Bah humbug, oh wait, thats another month :)

Ooh! That is definitely a spooky haunted house. How did Sophie and Skipper do last night? We always have a decent number of trick-or-treaters, but we had even more last night. It was cold and rainy, but the rain finally stopped about 6:30, and they came out in droves.
