The dogs and I just got in from a walk this beautiful autumn morning. It's a little chilly and the leaves are really taking on color now. The only bad thing about autumn, it seems to be the shortest season of the year. I guess that just makes us appreciate it more.
I'm still pondering the disappearing produce from yesterday's Walmart trip. For various reasons, I've ruled out taking the wrong buggy and someone thinking my buggy had been abandoned and putting my things back. I was not away from it long enough for that to happen. I don't know. I guess it's just one of life's little mysteries that shall go unsolved.
Andy and I are going to have lunch at Max's Deli today and then go to Bed Bath & Beyond. I need new sheets for the queen-size bed (did I tell you I swapped out with Andy the king for the queen?). So far, the only ones I've been able to find anywhere are ugly. I've even thrift-store shopped for sheets without any luck.
Happy Saturday, everyone. Be sure to visit Beverly's Pink Saturday party and enjoy the pinkness.

Lovely photo! I cannot imagine what trees are so pink.
Wish I could go to Max's with you and Andy not only for the food but also to show my support.
Happy hunting at B,B,&B! I seem to get most of our sheets there, at Macy's, Target, Penney's, or on-line and always look for sales and high thread count. Yes, you told us you and Andy had swapped beds, queen for king.
We've had chilly rain since yesterday but today is even colder. The low tonight is expected to be 33*F and the higher elevations in Virginia are getting snow today. Snow in October is really odd for this state tho last year we had a big snow on Dec. 5th and that was most unusual, too.
Hugs!

Susan, The picture is just gorgeous. I know here in Utah, the trees that get the deep red leaves that turn to pink just before they fall are the Oaks and Oakbrush, and with the Aspens (we call them Quakies) a bright yellow and some others in the bright orange range and mixed in to all of them are the Evergreens. We missed our leaves at their peak of Autumn colors this year. We only have one weekend to catch them at their brightest and the Sunday we were going to do that, they announced in church that one of the ladies in our congregation was being baptized shortly after the service and we wanted to be there for that. So glad we did, it was wonderful.
We went up the next weekend to see the leaves and the mountains were beautiful but yellow and green were the outstanding colors as the red leaves had dropped. We still got some lovely pictures though. Hugs...

Those trees are about the most beautiful thing I could imagine! I would stand and STARE at them all day! Had to grin over the folks with snow because here in Houston, we are all thrilled with 45 degrees these last 2 mornings! It's wonderful & refreshing! Of course, it IS Houston, after all. Temps will rise through Wednesday (80) and SLIGHTLY lower again Thursday/Friday. Sigh. I'd be thrilled if it got above 60 only ONE DAY PER YEAR so that I could really appreciate WHY I love cold! YAY to you & Andy for going to Max's deli!!! I SOOOOO would support him! BBB? LOVE that place! Have to pass by Thursday after Barnes & Noble to buy a Silpat - only place around here that carries 'em! I WANTED to get a food mill, too, but those things are EXPENSIVE! Eeeks! Finally - I think the Halloween goblins stole the food from your cart! Yep! Boooooooooo!
