E.T. = Extra Tired

Wed3 I have been working all weekend getting ready to attend retreat. All I have left to do is pack my car, and I'll be ready. But I'm exhausted. I'm beginning to think I should have just stayed here and sewed in my sewing room. But then I would have missed laughing and talking with my friends. I'm sure not going to feel like driving to Smith Lake in the morning though.

Andy and Jesse are going to house/dog sit while I'm gone. So Skipper won't be boarding after all. And Birdie dodged a bullet on the doggie hysterectomy. Andy saw Birdie today walking down the road where she lives, not inside or in a fence as she should be. Andy says she just has to remember, "She's not my dog."

I probably won't be blogging much this week. But we'll still have our UFO Progress Report on Friday. I hope to have a couple of things to show by then. Have a great week, everyone.

I'm so glad you're ready to go and am sure this effort will be rewarded by the wonderful time you'll have with your quiltie friends and in that lovely setting.

Perhaps you might consider packing your car tonight so you can just add your suitcase, purse, sunglasses, and yourself and drive away tomorrow? Yes, it will be tiring tonight but you'll have a restful night's sleep before you leave.

You'll certainly be missed in blogland but you'll have pictures and stories to share when you get home again.

Bless Andy's heart! It must be difficult to see Birdie roaming around again.

Drive safely and have fun! Yes,enjoy the food, too. Really!

Hugs!

It breaks my heart that Birdie is not Andy's :(
Have fun at retreat. I always hate having to pack my machine and everything that goes with it. You will have a great time!
Hugs,
Donna

Thank you to Barbara who said almost VERBATIM what I'd planned to say! Susan, have a WONDERFUL time! Don't stress (it's a retreat, after all) talk, quilt, laugh, and when you feel the need, excuse yourself for a little rest. Be safe & ENJOY! LOVE YOU!
