So I walked into the living room just now, and here's the scene I saw. Skipper dead to the world with his hind feet propped up on Sophie's butt. My how times have changed. Skipper has has succeeded in what no one, dog or human, has ever been able to do; he has brought the black dog down from her high horse.
These dogs really know how to do Sunday, don't they?

Adorable photos! :) I am owned by two hound furbabies too, and I know in my next lifetime, I want to be a dog who owns someone like you and me. :D

How blissful and, yes, Sophie and Skipper have the Sunday afternoon nap thing down to an art! Skipper will know in a heartbeat if Sophie goes anywhere. Too cute!
Hope you'll adopt a similar comfy pose for your nap or your reading time today.
Hugs!

They are soooo cute. Mine is laying beside me snoring now. Just wish we could get as relaxed as they do.
Hope you have a wonderful Sunday afternoon

What a great picture, way cute. My Sadie Jo, who looks exactly like Sophie, is such a nervous little mite from the abuse she suffered the first 18 months of her life that relaxing still doesn't come easy to her, even after being a member of our household for over 7 years. But she is a bundle of love and when she does relax, it is much like Skipper in this photo. Precious furry babes. Thanks for sharing, Hugs...

Skipper is a lucky boy...that's all I can say!! He found his forever home and it's THE BEST!!! What a good big sister Sophie is tolerating the kid brother!!

Great photo! Too bad neither of them will ever date or anything for which you could use this photo as blackmail. The dogs days of summer indeed.

Great photos of your pups. I too have a diva dog, she barks every time another one touches her. But she is old so we all excuse her.
Sorry to read (in an older post) that you have fibro. I'm going thru a flare too, maybe from the heat. NO fun.

Susan, that is a delightful photo. I have an image of you grabbing for the camera while laughing at their comfy pose. And I hope you had a chance to relax in your favorite chair some time this weekend, too!

I've always maintained that if we observe them long enough, animals can teach us something. Sophie and Skipper taught me what Sundays are all about. Bless them.
