I've recently been wanting to do some kind of window treatment for my over-the-sink kitchen window. I haven't had anything on it for years and years. I got to looking through internet resources and found these lovely photos.
I think that cup in the last photo is my daughter Andy's dish pattern. (Better watch your cupboard, A.)
I'll probably just do a ruffly valance when I get around to doing anything--but it's nice to dream.
Happy Pink Saturday, everyone. Be sure to hop over to Beverly's How Sweet the Sound blog to enjoy more celebrations in pink.

I love the kitchen window pictures, especially the hankies and the cup. I'm wondering if a row of cups, nicely spaced)as a valance would be too much. I have a garden window and I'm wondering what I could do with those ideas. Anyone have any suggestions?

Cute use of hankies and that vintage flower/check tablecloth patterned fabric. Personally, I'd prefer tea in that sweet cup!
Cam, your thought of a row of hanging cups sound like it would be charming - and you could still use them as cups if you wanted to.
You've made me want a new kitchen curtain!
Hugs!

I need something new above my kitchen sink myself, but haven't even added it to my to do list. There's no room, lol. That tea cup is so sweet though I love it! I wonder if I could find some strawberry cups?

Great use of hankies for the valance...so cute & you could change them seasonally to match decor changes. Great idea! Thanks for sharing at PS.

That hankie one is SUPER cute! I have some of my grandmothers hankies in a box somewhere...I sure would like them to see the light of day.
