Wishing and Hoping and Thinking and Praying*

A-friend

Congrats to all of you Little Green Quilters and other UFO Busters who scored busts this week. I enjoyed visiting your blogs and seeing what you've done. Keep up the good work. And if you haven't made a bust yet, take heart. The year is young; you can do it.

This has not been a good weekend. Yesterday I got the news that a very dear friend and neighbor has been diagnosed with a brain tumor. I can do nothing but think of him and his family and pray for them. He is one of Vann's best buddies and one of the sweetest men you'll ever know. He'll be undergoing biopsy surgery on Tuesday. Please keep my friend Gene in your thoughts and prayers.

I don't think I'll be going to church this morning. Fibromonster has been dancing a jig on my body, and he refuses to even turn the music down. In addition to all the regular fibro-symptoms, the mitral valve thing has kicked in and my heart has been acting as rhythm section for FM's dance music. So I think I'll just go back to bed for a while. If all doesn't get a little better soon, I'll be seeing my doctor this week.

Have a good Sunday, everyone. And happy busting to all you UFO Busters.

*Thanks to Burt Bacharach and Dionne Warwick for the perfect lyric to describe how I feel today.

Awww honey, sorry you're feeling so bad and that your heart is getting in on the act. Hope rest and meds. will set the ugly fibromonster to flight and that your heart will settle back to it's quiet lub-dub-lub-dub healthy rhythm.

Praying for Gene, his family and friends, and his medical team. May the prognosis and news all be good.

Hugs!

I will keep your friend in my prayers. Sorry you are not feeling well. My sister has fibro and I know how it can get a person down. I will keep you in my prayers also, that you will find some relief and back to your "normal" self. Take care.

Again, thinking of you. I didn't get any posts done on Friday about my UFOs. So busy! But I got a lot of applique work done on Tree of Life. I figure I'll post about it THIS Friday! Lynn reminded me, there are 52 Fridays this year, and I don't have to post and update EVERY Friday! ha ha. Trying to be low stress about it, but you see how well I'm doing with that! hee hee Hang in there.

Yes, yes, Stephanie. Low key, low stress is the theme of this UFO Bust.
