UFO Bust: Week 1 Progress

Week1 Progress I got one more Noah's Ark block finished yesterday. Two more 18" blocks to go, then the sashing, and it's off to the quilter with it.

I have several tops to send out for quilting, and I hope to get them all packed up and ready to go next week.

I also worked a little on the Crocheted Kitty Cat afghan last night. However, with one dog snuggled up against each hip, it was very difficult to keep up with my chart and juggle five balls of yarn. So I gave up after a couple of rows.

Two more quilters have signed on for the UFO Bust. Let's make them welcome. They are:

Julie in WA at I'm Keeping Busy
Gael at Pink-a-Palooza

If you have progress to show today, go ahead and post a comment here so that everyone can visit your blog and see what you've done.

From now on, please let me know no later than Thursday if you'll be posting progress, and I will include a list of blogs in my Friday post.

Also by next Friday, I hope to have the UFO Bust participant list in my sidebar with links.

Gotta run now and get ready to do battle at Walmart with all the shoppers hoarding milk and bread in preparation for the upcoming snow-and/or-ice-storm that is forecast for this area this weekend. Just so I can make it to the Cesar dog food, we'll be all right. But if I let those doggies run out of Cesar, they might just decide to eat me.

You seem to keep so busy. Stay in if you get that storm. I had a nightmare getting home from work last night. I am out of cat food and everytime I go into the bathroom the kitty sits there and meows at me. When I walk out she grabs my shirt and tries to softly bite me. So beware of hungry puppies. They are so much company, aren't they.
Love the
Noah's
Arc.

Oh, I LOVE the Noah blocks!!!!!! Applause, applause!!

I know I missed the Thursday deadline, but just sent you my UFO list and pictures of #19 on that list that I finished this mornings. I know I started with the little quilt that needed only a label, but the UFOs will progressively require more work as I go thru the list.

Hope the needed dog food is plentiful on the shelves at WalMart. Do you also need hot chocolate, soup ingredients (or cans), oatmeal, stuff for a hot toddy or any other cold weather food or beverage?

Stay safe! Am glad your back yard is now completely fenced so you can just put Sophie and Skipper outside while you stay inside. Any foolish possums can fend for themselves.

Hugs!

Noah's ark is going to be gorgeous! You'll be through those UFOs before you know if you keep on like this.
Take care if it gets icy my dear! (I speak from experience, painful experience!)
best wishes, Helen

I'm not posting any progress this week...I just got my list up. I do all my sewing on the weekend, so it will have to wait until next week. Sorry! You've made great progress! This is quite the cute quilt!
