I know most of you have read or heard this adage. Well, this morning, life has given me scraps, the scraps of pain and fatigue. My hips and legs hurt all night, combining with a sinus headache to allow me very little sleep.
But I'm determined to obey the second part of the adage as well. I don't think I'll get much done today, but if I only cut out a few pieces for the Noah's Ark blocks, I'll be happy. December 31 will be here before we know it, and I'm heck-bent on making a huge dent in my disgraceful UFO list.
We have two more UFO Busters joining our challenge. Let's give a welcome to the following Little Green Quilters.
Joanne at Sourwood Mountain (my sister Un*)
Mama Pea at Peas in a Pod
When the sign-ups seem to have ended, I'll post a complete list of all members in my sidebar. That way, all blog links will be handy, and we can keep up with what everyone is doing. Y'all have a good day busting those UFOs.
*We three sisters--Ramey, Joanne, and I--adopted French names some time back. I don't remember why. But now we use them to sign emails and stuff. Joanne is Un (One), I am Deux (Two), and Ramey is Trois (Three). I can never remember how to spell my French name.

Cold weather is wreaking havoc on my arthritis too! Hope you at least get your scraps done!

Hi Susan!
What's the reason for the French names, if you don't mind my asking?
So sorry you're feeling poorly and hope meds. rest, a heating pad, a hot bath, and/or soup will help. I'm aching, too, but suspect it's because of all I've been busy doing this week. I've been spoonless by the end of each day all week.
Happily, the sound on my computer is working once more since it had an update yesterday.
More happily, I've emptied 7 of 8 boxes of flannel onto two of the small but deep closet shelves in this tiny sewing room and think there's room for the last bit of flannel, too. I am trying to get this room better organized before starting on my UFOs. This is possible because of the ironing cart DH made for me for Christmas. It has storage under the ironing surface.
Be good to you!
Hugs!

I can't remember why we did this; I think it was Ramey's invention. We're named by our birth order: Joanne first (Un), me second (Deux, and Ramey third (Trois).

Poor lil' Susan! Mean old fibro & sinuses! But, looking on the bright side (I know, I know! Pollyanna Kai!) your sense of humor is FIRMLY intact! You are just adorable, & I love you!

Hey, Susan, thanks for the link! I am excited about the UFO Challenge! (My blog is called Peas in a Pod, when you post it on your sidebar.) Thanks so much. I got a lot of traffic from your site today. :-)
Best,
Stephanie

Sorry to hear about your troubles at moment Susan. Loved the quote and will certainly try to remain positive when dealt scraps.

I knew that, of course, Stephanie. Just a case of muddle brain there.
