If you thought Sandy Gail's Sunbonnet Sue blocks were cute, just wait till you see the photos below of them joined together with pretty pink sashing and framed with beautiful bright borders. Great job, Sandy. I love this quilt!

I love how the sashing looks like gingham with the darker cornerstones, and all the different Sues having fun at all their activities. Great quilt! Glad you're all sewing up a storm and getting projects finished. I hope this inspires you to spend a lot more time in your sewing room :)

I LOVE the wonderful Sues and agree with Annie that the deeper pink cornerstones look great, as if the pink sashings are crossing there so are double the color! Love the borders and that swirly purple. The outer border brings all the colors together in one happy print!
Midday report from me is no sewing yet but lots of pressing and cutting. It feels good to sit for a few minutes. I'm having a snack of Green Tea Ginger Ale and a Halloween Kit-Kat.
Onward!
Hugs to all!

Do you know what book she used for her patterns?
