Time for me to call it a day. At our bee and guild retreats, there's always a couple of tireless quilters who stay up till the wee hours sewing, but not me. I tend to turn in early to read and rest up for the next day.
I finished the Teddy Bear quilt top. Now it's all ready to go to the quilter.
This is the project that awaits me in the morning. All the blocks are done. I just want to get them joined together.
It has been a fun day. I got a lot of sewing done--more than I've done in weeks, no months. I hope your day was productive too. I've enjoyed visiting your blogs and seeing what some of you have been doing. I want to extend a great big Yellow House welcome to Leah H., our newest retreater. She joined just today. We're looking forward to getting to know you, Leah, and seeing what you're doing. I've added your name and blog address to the list contained in the first blog post of today. Everybody be sure to drop by Leah's blog and welcome her.
See everyone in the morning.

Oh the bear is soo cute! Good for YOU! I love the diamond quilt also, and have a few patterns like it. I'm scared to cut tho..Mainly uneasy about the side "odd" shaped diamonds..How was it?
Yup, I'll bee up till the wee hours...
I'm just getting started after dinner!
Take care,

Started quilting at 9:30am and had a call from dad at 11:30. He needed me to pick up a prescription. I asked if there was anything else to pickup?! No. Drove 35 miles to dads and he needed his sheets changed, some laundry done, and wanted me to call his bank about something on his statement. As I'm leaving, he asks for me to stop at Costco for Ensure Plus! That store is 7 miles the other direction as home! He needs me(??) again tomorrow. In his defense,he is 91 and finished 6 weeks of radiation a month ago and is still very weak. So no sewing tomorrow. But his Thurs. appointment is canceled so I will join the 'retreat' then. No regrets, the Lord wants me to do this, but I still feel the need to explain. Happy quilting to all. Pat Mc

The bear is so cute! And the diamond top is great -- looks like it would be a perfect way to use my Kaffe collection. What pattern did you use?
