Are You Ready for Some Quilting?

Yellow Fabs

Yellow House

Virtual Quilting Retreat

October 12-14, 2010

I've decided to start our online quilting retreat on Tuesday, October 12, instead of the 11th (because I realized I have quilt guild on Monday).

Here are the rules. There are none. You can start sewing anytime on Tuesday that you like.  You can post pics of what you've done on your blog, and I'll post a link to your blog here so that everyone can visit and see what you've accomplished. Be sure to let me know, either by a blog comment here or by e-mail, when you've posted pics. You can do that at the end of each day or whenever you're at a point that you have something to show. You might also want to write a few snippets about your day of sewing. If you don't have a blog, e-mail your photos and snippets to me at suscleve@aol.com and I'll post them here.

So far, these are the people I have signed up:

Joanne C.
Barbara
Gael Tino
Donna
Pat McD.
Julie in WA
Thelma
Mary K.
Suely R.
Brita P.
Sandy Gail
Sandy
Libby

Did I miss anyone? If so, please let me know. This is important because I'm going to have at least one prize drawing during the retreat, so you'll want your name in the pot. And it's not too late to sign up if you haven't already. Anytime before Tuesday will be ok.

Sign me up! I have a project in mind that I've been procrastinating about, so this would be the perfect day to get moving on it. See you then!

Goody, goody!

I need to get my act together and clear the decks, get things organized, or I'll be floundering come Tuesday. I can do it!

Hugs!

Thanks for all your work in doing this..I can quilmaske, not so sure how things will go on my blog! lol...I need a 12 year old to teach me!
Anyhoo, I have a neutral colored wedding quilt that I'll be working on, not very exciting. may have to sneak in something cheery for a bit!
Take care,

You can take me off the 'maybe' and add me in 'for sure'! I am so looking forwards to this. I have much to do, as my sewing corner has been in an upheaval while remodeling and painting; no sewing in two months! But now I am ready to go!

Sign me up! I have worked the book fair at my sons school all week long!! I miss my sewing so much! A retreat may be just what I need. Sigh, I will still have to do those everyday things that a Mom has to do but only the basics!! I will be on a retreat (even if only in my mind) Thanks for hosting us!

I think it's possible for me to sew portions of the next couple of days. Please add my name to the sew along. Many thanks! Just discovered your blog:)
