There Was Yesterday; Now There's Today

Rednesday 2

That's a box of matches lying on the plate in the photo (in case you were wondering). I saw it at a local gift shop while I was looking for a gift for a sick cousin and couldn't pass it up. Although I have no particular need for matches, I do so love bees and I just had to have the box.

I got another cake baked yesterday. Only one more to go and my baking duties will be over for a while. I have not, however, started either one of the baby quilts. I'm hoping that's my goal for today.

I'm glad you all like my island table and don't think it's "in the way." I love it. It already proved itself to be a handy addition to my kitchen working space while I was baking that cake yesterday.

Not much to talk about today that you haven't already heard. So I think I'll fix a bowl of oatmeal, take Sophie out one more time before it gets egg-frying hot, then climb the stairs to the sewing room and see if I can get organized to start the baby quilts.

Remember, this is the day that the Lord has made. So get up, now, and do something with it.

Lovely matchbox! I would have wanted it too. You need them for lighting candles! Looks pretty on your plate......which I am coveting at the moment.

Cute box. I am like that, too. Sometimes I have to buy something to have the box it came in! Ha ha!

Good morning!

Your bee box is too cute and will bring a smile to your face whenever you glance at it so was well worth the cost!

I enjoy making scrappy Rail Fences and Pinwheel quilts for babies and toddlers as they are such happy, quick patterns. What block pattern, fabrics, and colors are you planning to use?

AMIL and I will be putting up sliced peaches and making peach jam!

Enjoy this day that the Lord has made!

Hugs!

What a darling matchbox! I like bees, too! Of course, my favorite critters are silverbacked mountain gorillas & I'm guessing I won't find any matchboxes with THOSE. Sigh! See what having to use this tiny laptop is doing to my brain? LOL!
