That was a favorite saying of my daddy's: "We'll be okay now, if we just don't hit a snag."
In this case, I think the snag has hit me. You knew it was coming, didn't you? Not only have I run slap out of spoons, the fibro pain is in full flare, and the back problems have gone into high gear as well. So no work today, I'm afraid. This will be a couch day.
I have a fellow coming from Huntsville this evening to look at the dining room furniture (hopefully to purchase the dining room furniture). Sweet Andy cleared a path last night so that he can get the stuff out if he does buy it. Thank God for Andy.
I had gone grocery shopping yesterday afternoon just about the time the pain was coming on strong. I was in the checkout line wondering how in the world I was going to manage to get those groceries up the steps when I got home. My cell phone rang, and it was A. She was calling me to tell me that she had gone by my house to leave me some boxes, and Sophie had come home with her. When I stopped by her house to pick Sophie up, Andy offered to follow me home and unload the groceries for me. She not only did that, but also put them up and then unloaded the dishwasher, loaded it back, and took out the garbage. She's a keeper, that one is.
Before I grab my Kindle and settle down on the sofa, I'll show you just a few pictures of my emerging flower bed in the back yard.
Oh my! I almost forgot.
The winner of the bunny tapestry is
Anna at Quiltmom's Journey blog.
Congratulations, Anna. If you will e-mail me your address to suscleve@aol.com, I'll get your tapestry in the mail as soon as I feel better. That is also when I'll post the next giveaway, when I feel better.

Aren't daughters just the delight of your life? They always know just what you need and show up when you need them. Sons are great too, but daughters seem to be more in tune. God bless you and your Andy, Susan.

Your garden is wonderful. Especially love the little pixie and dragon. Hope you get to feeling better soon. That outdoors stuff should make it so!

Your garden is looking so darling! It makes me want to sit outside with a cup of tea & just look at it! Then I remember we are BOTH in the south and this is NOT the time to sit out drinking ANYTHING warm. But you know what I mean. Andy is a treasure! Tell her Aunty Kai SAID so! And you rest, young lady! Your body is fussing at you for doing too much lately! I love you!

I'm so sorry you're feeling so awful, out of spoons, and being annoyed by back pain, too. Bother and bummer!! Hope this couch day with Kindle will put you on the road of recovery.
Love your garden and the whimsical touches!
Cheers for Andy and all helpful kids!!!!!
Be good to you. Remember even God had a day of rest and you're practically re-creating your home, so there's a connection there!
Hugs!

Well aren't I the lucky one to be chosen to win your prize.
Thank you so very much Susan for your lovely bunny tapestry. I will treasure it always.
So sorry to hear that your fibro has flared up. I am so glad that Andy was able to help you out - she is such a caring thoughtful daughter.
Hope you found some great new books to read while you are getting yourself better.
Warmest regards,
Anna

So sorry you're not feeling well. Rest and let your body catch up; reading sounds like a great way to let it heal! BTW, what DOES GYHEM stand for? Maybe I missed that! Bless you!
