Color Confusion

Colorful-bras Now I have even more splotches of color all over my house. This is too hard. Do I choose Jekyll Clubhouse Yellow--or tone down the yellow a little and choose Fairmont Lobby Cream? Do I like the Wicker in the guest room--or is it too dark; should I go with yellow/cream there too? Or go back to Lowe's and find a Wicker that's not so dark?

Or do I just take Sophie outside again and forget the whole mess? That dog! She has gone outside-crazy. As soon as we get inside, she wants outside again. Critter smells are everywhere, and she knows it, and she wants her some.

Well on a less confusing note, I think I've found a fellow to make my chair slipcover. A friend of a friend just called me and he's on his way here to look at my chair.

In another positive turn of events, I have a woman coming next Tuesday evening to look at the dining room furniture. She says she's going to buy it, but I haven't counted those chickens yet. She's bringing her boyfriend, dad, and brother with her, so I guess she's planning on loading up the furniture. I think I'll have someone here with me when they come. I'm not a paranoid person, but these days it doesn't hurt to be careful.

Now that means I have to empty that china cabinet too. Oh well, I would have to empty it anyway so Joe can paint the dining room. But I hadn't thought about that until the woman made the appointment to come look at the furniture. I still haven't got all the sewing room packed up.

Gotta go. The upholstery guy just called. He was lost, but I think I got him back on the correct path. He should be here shortly.

My vote:
Forget the paint colors and let your subconscious muse about which to chose while you -
- deal with the man who'll probably reupholster your chair (be sure he knows you have many other uses for the extra fabric).
- walk Sophie
- empty the china cabinet
- walk Sophie
- finish packing the sewing room
- walk Sophie
- rest as you need to

Have you thought of fencing part of your yard that is immediately outside an exterior door so Sophie can play without you at her side?

Your home rejuvenation is coming together!! Hang in there!

Hugs!

Great idea to have someone at home when the folks come to look at the furniture, you're not paranoid, you're smart.

Love the pictures to added to today's post!
