I'm going to have to buy her a beret; and she's demanding that I give over half my sewing room for her studio now. As if she weren't diva enough, now she thinks she's an artist.
And I suppose she is. My sweet and talented Sophie painted a beautiful picture for me, with the help of a couple of nice ladies at the Barks for Life Saturday. It's called Paws 'n' Paint or Paint 'n' Paws or Painting Paws or something. I forget what. But Sophie did a wonderful job. The beautiful pinks and greens of her masterpiece are perfect for our office. I just have to get a frame for it and hang it.

Oh, what could be better than this lovely floral painting that Sophie and friends made for you?!! Once this unique painting is matted and framed, I hope you'll attach a photo of Sophie and a copy of the above picture to the back of the picture. That will be a forever record of the artist and the creation of the flowers. Sweet, sweet, sweet!
I wonder if Barks for Life could have an ongoing fundraiser by turning this type artwork into prints and note cards they could sell??
Still cleaning house for company that arrives tomorrow so I need to get back to it. I enjoyed my break with you!!

This is trés magnifique! We tried to get Buckles the cat to paint, and he just looked at me like I had told a really un-funny joke! Then he stuck his tongue out at me!

OH!!!! This has to be my VERY FAVORITE of all your posts to date! I KNEW Miss Sophie was special! Sure enough, her's an artist! LOL! I absolutely agree with Barbara Anne. What a wonderful way for "Barks for Life" to obtain additional funds. In this way they could reach so many people throughout the U.S. and not be limited to just one area.
I know I'd buy a print, note or postcard by the talented Sophie and her fellow artists.
