We had rain and thunder all night. Daisy slept under the bed. She gets upset when it thunders. Like that one! It's ok, Daisy.
Sophie, on the other hand, pays no attention to thunder--except that one time when lightening struck a tree nearby and made and awful boom, which woke Sophie up from her nap. She opened her eyes and went into a fit a barking. When she was done, she lay back down and went back to sleep.
Jerry Tracey (Channel 13 meteorologist) tells us the bad stuff is yet to come. And from the looks of the online weather map, it's not far away.
We're supposed to have stormy weather all day--a very dangerous situation where F-humongous tornadoes are produced that stay on the ground for a long way. No F-0 and F-1 today, I'm afraid.
I have to get out of these pajamas and get ready to take the girls to the basement if conditions warrant. Don't want to go to the Land of Oz this morning.

You stay safe, too! I'm glad you have a basement to retreat to if necessary. Hope there's comfy furniture there so you're cozy, a TV or radio for entertainment, and a phone.
Decades ago we had a dog who jumped into the bathtub when it thundered and she'd quiver and quake until the storm passed. One of our current cats heads under the nearest large piece of furniture and if she's outside, she goes under the barn and won't come into the house if it's closer. Go figure!

EEEEEKS! We missed it tho' we were slated for the same kind of weather. STAY SAFE. (And if you start seeing little people, or Sophie and/or Daisy being carried off by winged monkeys, don't panic. You'll wake up!) LOVE YOU!
