Dear Susan, I have read your blog for a long time,but never made a comment. I am sorry for all the sadness that you are enduring, but I also think that you are gathering yourself up in order to carry on. I think the new chairs are lovely. The thing about chairs is that they are versatile. You can move them around when you need to. Don't worry about having too many chairs. A good chair will be a comfortable place for a friend's bum to sit and stay for awhile, right? Trust your vision for your spot.

Susan, if you haven't already done so, put those chair legs on
sliders, then you can easily move them around the room or the
house until you find just the right spot. Then tilt the chairs one
corner at a time and pull out the slider with your foot. I've moved
almost everything in my house by myself that way.

Good for you! For some reason, I had a feeling these chairs would suit you to a tee - or tea - or T?!
Have I ever shown you the chair I saw at a consignment shop that I know instantly was to be mine? When I sat in it and it fit me (I'm 5'1"), that clenched it and we didn't need another chair either.
