Along about Thursday, or possibly Friday, we're going to have a big celebration here at Blackberry Creek. Can you guess what we'll be celebrating? The photo mosaic gives a little clue. There will be a giveaway to help celebrate, so don't miss it.
Miss Daisy went home last night. She was glad to see Lori and Greg, but after greeting them with plenty of doggie enthusiasm, she came and sat in my lap until time to go home. I think that's just her way of saying, "I'm glad to be going home, Suzie, but I love you too."
I didn't make it to guild meeting yesterday, so no show-n-tell. But I did get a little work done in my quest to declutter. About six boxes packed for charity truck pickup. And several loads of trash carried out. Thanks to ibuprofen and skelaxin, I had a few almost-pain-free hours starting around noon. Did pretty good the rest of the day and night without meds, but this morning the pain in the back and shoulder are back and I had to return to the medicine cabinet. I have some errands to run today, so I'm hoping to get the same results from the pill popping that I got yesterday.
Oh, BTW, anybody who can guess what we'll be celebrating at the end of the week will get an extra entry in the giveaway. So put your thinking caps on and take a guess.

could it be your blogging birhday?? What ever I want in on it too .So gklad yoiur on the declutter mode it is so worth while in the end.I keep on doing it everytime I see something I think about what is it for or do I need it and guess where it usually goes ? Hugs, Marie

I was going to guess the same thing - your blog-a-versary. The clues of friends, flowers, fabrics, fibers, (running out of F words), peace, love, and books = a creative quilter and voracious reader's blog!
Wish your photo montage would enlarge - I'd love to see some of those picture up close!
Better living through chemistry is worthwhile. Hope you feel better after visiting your medicine cabinet.

I'm guessing w/the others ... "Blog Birthday???" So sorry I never made it by to wish Sophie a Happy Birthday yesterday. Hope she got some extra treats in honor of her special day, and that little Daisy is a cutie pie! Sure hope the meds worked again today and here's wishing the little Yellow House an early Spring :) Oh and I enjoyed Silly Saturday!

Hi Susan ~ Congratulations.... I think you've hit...could it be 1000 posts??? Maybe not that many?
Know how I even had a guess? Well....I'm notorious for saving posts in Bloglines of quilts I like, recipes, or just things I plain like. I scrolled back through my blogline archives to see if that would give me a clue. On a post titled Soph Turns Six (2 yrs ago!) there was Soph saying that SuSu wanted us to know it was your 400th blog post back then.
Anyway...we'll look forward to hearing about the celebration.

Well, Soph had her birthday and I don't think it's your birthday, so I am guessing a blogaversary. Good on ya for remembering to commemorate it. I think I've been at it 5 years but April passes every year and I forget to do something. And every year I threaten to celebrate Riley's birthday, but I forget that too. Riley said he didn't mind.

Dear Susan, Happy birthday to sweet Sophie. I can tell you are crazy about your dogs. We are too. I do hope your little one is alright. Our new baby poodle is so darling.
I hate to hear you are in Pain Susan. I know this weather can't help. I am proud of you for cleaning out some things for the thrift store. I must do the same. I hope it was worth the extra meds you must take.

I am guessing like the others that you are having a blog anniversary?!!? Or a special post? It's like a birthday and it's about quilts, and it's things that you love hence the hearts, but it's not Valentine's Day... so that's my guess, a blog-a-versary! Happy Late Birthday to Sophie!
