Most of you are very close in your answers to my question yesterday--and a couple of you have actually nailed it. Keep guessing. You can guess again if you'd like and maybe win an extra chance in the prize drawing. (More clues in the above photos.) I hope to show you the prize I'll be giving away tomorrow. It comes in several parts, and one part isn't finished yet. (I do not know why my photo is fuzzy. I created it just like the one yesterday, which isn't fuzzy. On closer examination, I guess yesterday's photo is fuzzy too. But it wasn't yesterday--was it?)
Nice, sunny, but cold, day here at the Yellow House. Got no errands to run, and I think I'm going to eschew any decluttering in favor of some sewing today. I'm falling behind on quite a few projects. Of course, it all depends on whether or not Sophie will agree to the plan. Her tolerance for me being upstairs is usually limited to about 30 minutes. Then she starts bugging me to come back down with her.
Have a good Hump Day, everyone. And check back tomorrow for the beginning of the big celebration.

Since your blog started in Nov of 2006, I don't think it is a blogiversary. Unless you are celebrating the ever joyful "3 years, 3 months, and 15 days" anniversary??? Seems a bit far fetched, but that's what I'm goin with!!!
Seriously, I think it must be a special 1000th post. I started reading your blog during Pat Sloan's OP challenge, and I have visited your blog every single day since then! I've gone back through your archives and read everything there, too! Can't seem to get enough of your wit and creativity!
(BTW, when you gonna start that book?)

I agree, it must be your 1000th post. Hope you managed to get some sewing done. Today was Guild day for me so managed to do a bit of sewing in between all the talking - but guess that's what meetings are for - also learned how to make slippers from a demo by one of the talented members - at least I think I learned - will have to give it a try one of these days.

Ooooooh! My overtaxed brain has no guesses (or anything ELSE) left IN it! LOL! Over the past 2 days I've been working almost non-stop on a HUGE rush job (finished at 1:48 this morning) for an editing client. But I HAVE read your posts and I'm going to say you are celebrating your favorite things or, more specifically, things you LOVE - perhaps in anticipation of Feb. 14th! So glad you are going to have a sewing day! Tell lil' Sophie that Aunty Kai to be a sweet doggy & allow you to PLAY! (Sophie, Mommy doesn't bark when YOU want to do something YOU like to do! LOL!)LOVE YOU, Susan!
