Achey Breaky Tuesday

Tuesday Bunny I did a LOT of sewing yesterday. I finished Bunny #5 (photo at left) started bunny #6 (photos below), made test blocks for the snowball challenge (photo below), and worked on the rest of my snowball bias squares (no photo).

I don't think I'll be doing any sewing today though. In fact, I'm having a bit of trouble typing. I have aggravated the carpel tunnel thing in my right hand apparently. It's hurting like heck this morning. I think I'm going to go dig out the brace I haven't used in a long time.

And it's not just the right hand and arm that hurts. It's a chilly damp morning, and all my conditions are acting up. Achey, creaky, stiff, and tired. I think this might be a day for lying around with Mr. Earl Grey and reading.

It's gotten chilly here and makes me want to climb under a quilt so I decided to hand stitch and watch a movie. Felt pretty good! Hope you are doing the same.

I'm so sorry you're having the aches and pains--again! I have the carpal tunnel thing, too, and those splints help a lot when it flares up. I hope you've got something effective for pain relief. It's so frustrating, when you want to do or make something, but your parts won't cooperate!

Here's hoping that those aches and pains are short-lived - after all those beautiful bunnies want to go hopping after the snowballs.

Your blocks look great - a day with Mr. Earl Grey sounds like it is in order. Take care of yourself.

The bunny blocks are precious. I can sympathize with the achy breaky's...I quilted two quilts in the last 2 days...my back is killing me, plus I have family coming in, so I've got cooking and cleaning to do tonight. Let's have a pity party! (Seems like I don't need an invitation, I'm having the party anyway!)

LOOOOOVE the bunnies! LOOOOOOAAAATHE the pain that interrupts your fun! Rest. Drink LOTS of Earl Grey! And cuddle with lil' Sophie! Big (but GENTLE) hugs!

Your snowball block using Rouenneries is breathtaking. Those bunnies are adorable too--I wonder if it is the hand sewing that is hurting your hand? I get that pain in the thumb when I cut all day long or if I am on a binding sewing marathon.
By the way, have you started the new Stephen King book? It is a page turner!

I'm really loving the snowball blocks! Take care with your carpal tunnel. I can totally relate to that and wear those darn braces just like in the picture to bed every night. I love applique but can't do too much of it. Your bunnies are simply adorable! Nancy in WI
