Oh, you're such a tease! I cannot wait to hear the report and to see your new little Halloween miniquilt. Well done for getting it made and finished so quickly!

Prayers and good wishes appreciated as I attempt to make a quilt for DS1 that he's waited for since ummm,,, ahhhhh ,,,, 1998. Sigh! The side center block units are like stretched flying geese and I've had a mental block about making them. Thanks!

About Me

Hi. My name is Susan, and I'm a lover of all things fabric related. When I first started sewing, in my teens, I made clothes. I learned to sew on a beautiful Singer treadle machine. I remember the first garment I made was a dress for the 4-H dress review when I was in Junior High.

In my 20s and 30s, I made almost all my and my children's clothes. I added quiltmaking in my late 20s, and gradually drifted away from garment making. I still make the occasional wearable, but most of my sewing time is spent on quilts.

I also enjoy reading and occasionally pick up the crochet hook or knitting needles. I invite you to visit here often. I'd like to share my interests with you.
