Yesterday, we helped our friends Chuck and Joyce celebrate their 30th wedding anniversary. Their daughter Charly and some friends threw them a surprise party at our church's family life center. It was a complete success. When the happy couple arrived, ostensibly to meet their daughter to go to dinner, we all yelled "SURPRISE." And they were--completely surprised.
Many people from church came, along with other friends and family of Joyce and Chuck. And a good time was had by all as far as I could tell.
