I've been working on my Siggy Blocks today. All 60 of mine will not be just alike because I want to use up some existing stash fabrics and scraps to make them.
I'm not tickled pink with the quality of the impression that my new stamp makes. I'm not sure if it's my ink pad of the stamp. It's a new ink pad (pigment ink). And I'm pressing very hard when I stamp. But the impressions are lighter than I want them to be.

Hi! Love your siggy blocks and the fabrics you've used! It will be lots more fun to use a variety of fabrics, but then scrap quilts are my favorites because I get bored when doing too many blocks that match. That's just me.
When you use your new stamp, are you pressing down on just one siggy block with no other fabric or block underneath? When I've stamped fabric, if I have just the layer I'm stamping on the mat or table with paper under the fabric it does better than if there are one or more layers of fabric under the one I'm stamping.
Hope Vann is feeling good!

They look very nice in the photo. I'm not experienced with stamping fabric so can't offer any comments.

Nice blocks Susan! Love the fabrics. That's a great idea to use the stamp. I think they look pretty good in the photo. Maybe a hard surface underneath - like a table top etc would help ?

I'm working on my blocks too. I like the idea of stamping it. I embroidered on some but to do 60 of them............I'll never finish.

For fabric marking I suggest an India ink pad, which is waterproof and quite dark. Pigment ink is likely to smudge and will most likely wash completely away if your items are laundered. If you can't find an India ink pad, try Staz-On.
