Matters of Heart

Crochet heart Here's a crocheted heart I made for my friend Blogless Barbara. I didn't even know that pink and green are her favorite colors, but they are. Ain't syncronicity great???

Barbara is a bit under the weather these days. Hope you're feeling better real soon, my friend.

Vann's blood counts were up on Monday, so he resumed chemo treatments on Monday and Tuesday. He's doing well, with no nausea. No problems at all except some pretty bad fatigue. Next scheduled treatments are March 19 and 20.

Andy and Steve came over last night for chili night at the Yellow House. Andy brought brownies. They were yummy.

Vann has a new Mac Book. It's so cute, white and about as big as a thick magazine. He has been working on a Compaq PC since retirement in 2001. He's glad to be back with Mac. I have an IMac.

Spring temperatures have come to our neck of the woods. Highs in the 70s, lows in the 50s. It's nice. All the snowmen are gone from the neighborhood.

Best wishes for a great weekend, everyone.

WOOOOOOHOOOOOO! Vann, you are SO doing GREAT! I know you are going to beat the daylights out of that cancer! And prayers, hugs, & SUPER happy dances are still being sent from Houston, Texas! Susan, the heart is really Springy & cheerful. It will boost your friend Barbara's spirits for SURE! Temps here are OBNOXIOUS. We are in the mid 80s and HUMID. No real rain for months, tho' we are hoping for some this coming week. Snowmen? Sigh ... we NEVER have those.

Vann has been on my mind lately, now I know why! Prayers for the icky tiredness to go away soon, and for good numbers.

That heart is adorable! I've been crocheting big things, started my 5th batwing shawl last night.

Have a super weekend Susan and Vann!!!

Hi! Yes the sweet, cute crocheted heart in my favorite colors did lift my spirits, but didn't cure the flu - phooey! Thanks again for your kindness!

Cheers that Vann's counts were up and I understand the brick wall fatigue is. Bummer and bother! Hope that goes away soon and that the new Mac book will be good entertainment when he needs to sit.
