EDIT: I JUST HAPPENED TO READ THROUGH THIS POST TODAY (3-09-09) AND IT DOESN'T MAKE A BIT OF SENSE. WHY WOULD GYPSIES LEAVING ANDY ON MY DOORSTEP CAUSE ME TO NOT HAVE ANY PICS OF HER AS A CHILD? DUMB!
I could have sworn that I gave birth to this pretty girl. Did I imagine the whole thing. Did I actually find her in a bundle on the front steps on February 21, 19__? Must have, cause I sure can't find any of the pictures of her as a baby or a child that I thought I had. I've been through albums and shoe boxes and closets and drawers. The only baby pictures I find of my (daughter?) Andy are a couple of double exposures and one very out-of-focus one. I did find this one below on my computer. Wonder how it got there, cause I sure can't find the original.
So far as I can tell, one of two things has happened. The first is the gypsy thing. She does sort of look like a little gypsy in that baby picture. But I'm not buying that one. What I think really happened is that all of my baby/child pictures of my daughter Angela/Andy now reside at her house, somehow having snuck out of here under cloak of secrecy.
Anyway, sweet A, HAPPY BIRTHDAY to your sticky-fingered self. May you have many, many more. And, BTW, take good care of those pictures.

Thank you Mama for the birthday wishes. I will have to look and see what I may have accidentally swiped from your house. But, it is possible. I do love to look at the pictures. There is no telling what I have.
