A Little Bit of Progress Report

OP8 Three more blocks and I'll have enough for a baby quilt. Or four more, if I decide to toss that block I don't like (bottom row, left). I worked on it a little, replacing one of the pieces, but it's still obviously not a sister of the other eight blocks.

Now I'm going to go blog hopping and see what everyone else is doing.

I was just going to email you to see how you were doing! I am at the point where I am starting to sew my rows together. Decided to do a diagonal set, but haven't figured out the border yet. The fabric group is so old I will never find the exact thing, so I may do a pieced border. Isn't this fun? The best part is that no one is bothering me, the phone hasn't run, and even the dogs are behaving.

Well now, both you and Barbara are moving right along with your projects...it looks like fun to me. I am having a brain dead day trying to sew some UFO's and have stopped as I just ripped out one block FOUR times....lol. Keep up the good work :)
Hugs,
Trudy

Great job all your blocks look beautiful!
I never even noticed the one block til you mentioned it! They are all so beautiful! What about putting it in the center to show off it's 'non-sisterlyness'?? Can't wait to see the finished results!

That one block may not fit in with the others but I like it. I always tell my students that not all fabrics, blocks can be the lead singer, some have to sing backup. I think this one is a lead singer.

I really like the orange and pink blocks. Wish I would have thought of that combination.
