In the Wee Wee Hours...

NAN6388 ...it's not always about wee-weeing. Sophie kept us awake half the night. She started at about 3:00 a.m., pacing the floor, clicking her little toenails on the hardwood, scratching on the side of the bed for us to get up. Vann got up the first couple of times and let her out in the fenced backyard, thinking she was answering Nature's call.

Finally, at about 5:00, Vann had had enough. So I got up and kept Sophie company while she paced the floor and looked out the windows and scratched on the doors and generally was a pest.

When daylight finally came, we went out in the front yard. There, on the dew-covered lawn, were deer tracks. It seems we have a deer hound on our hands. After she got a good sniff and was sure the deer were not still in her yard, she came back in and went to bed. I'd like to do the same, but I have too much on my to-do list.

Below are some ATCs (artist trading cards) that I recently received from some wonderful artists. The top two are from a SwapBot swap, and the three on the bottom are from Joan C. from England. I love making and trading ATCs.

Sophie has great senses! Too bad you couldn't get any sleep. Hopefully there will be no deer tonight!

Uh-oh, yes we know about dogs and things that go bump in the night. Cats and skunks can get through to the golf course and beyond to the wilds just outside our bedroom window and Riley goes nuts. I really need to put a fence up there but the cats would just go over it anyway. We don't let him out lest it's a coyote.

Those ATC's are awesome! I love making them too! I heart <3 the Faerie one *winks*
Maybe the deer are stocking up for the Winter, even though it's only Autumn.
Hopefully you will get some sleep tonight!

Thanks for the partner info. I got mine and printed it out! I'm looking forward to having fun!

Sophie takes good care of her home. I hope you did get some rest.

The cards you received are wonderful. I have a friend that specializes in ATC. I'll have to give them a try one of these days.
